    I don't know how my profile pic affects how people perceive me -- how about some of you tell me?

    I picked this pic because at the time I had just had lap band surgery and I wasn't allowed to eat any raw vegs or fruit yet (still healing, too hard to digest) and I missed them so much! Strawberries were just coming into season and I was jonesin' for them.

    I generally don't change my profile pics once I've settled on one. My FB pic has been the same for years...same with LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

    Based off feedback I've gotten via messages I would say yes... yes it does. Either way it's staying, I need the motivation to continue my cut even though my strength continues to dwindle every week. Why can't bulkier builds be the "norm" in society I like getting stronger in the gym grr.

    I change my pic to suit my mood. I like this pic because it shows off my legs- many years of dancing have been put into those legs and I think they look pretty darned good.:)

    Someone on this site msged me to tell me I probably attract crazy people in person because Im crazy because of my upsidedown yoga pic. Since they were so offended I needed to find something worse.

    My profile picture makes it seem like I've got a boyfriend.

    Nope, that's my ex. It's a recent picture, and uh...yeah still kind of in love with him. I love the picture of me though, I think I look good in it.

    I picked mine because I post from work for one. For two, it's my fave video game character and when I hit my goal weight will be my first cosplay.

    I don't think it makes anyone percieve anything really about me... unless they think I'm a game freak or something lol

    yup it does...but i'm damn proud of my collarbone...and if people really wanted to see what I look like...before, during and all that jazz...they can look at my other pics on my profile...

    but man that collarbone....loving it!

    I can relate to my avatar. I have always had a big (but shapely) backside and have always been proud of it, despite the crtiical comments of others - and I thought this picture reflected that pride :happy:

    I have no idea whether it affects the way folks perceive me - and TBH I don't really care!

    Today mine is my kids because it's my son's first day of 1st grade! Yay! LOL

    Normally, I just choose pictures I like of myself. No rocket science behind the why. :) I just like them.

    I've always wondered what peoples first impressions are from that one picture. Personally I dont put much thought into the picture itself, its just so rare that I find a decent picture of myself and when they do come along I like to show them off!

    I am sure it does for some people....

    My picture is just my best & most recent picture of me...Of course I love that my youngest son is in it too...I would love to get one with me and both of my boys....I don't photograph very well, so I only have a few decent ones with me in it for now...I hope that changes soon!! :)
