Dear God, please give me a thigh gap.
All my jeans have this going on. I wear them anyway because I'm not going to spend another $40 on jeans so the same thing can happen in a few months.
But today, I put these jeans on, and I realized it's probably time to toss them out I took them off before taking a photo because so much skin was showing that I thought MFP would delete my thread.
Dear God, please give me a little space between my thighs. Just a little tiny space. Not a big one, just like a millimeter. Please.

I'm with you on this one. My thighs have destroyed countless jeans like this. Its also annoying to keep pulling out shorts that get stuck between my thighs every few minutes! :grumble:0

Lol how the hell does that happen?
How long does it take? Years?0 -

Hilarious post only because I can soo relate0

Ive never had thigh space, even when I was thin. I would love to know the feeling of thighs not touching
Never made a hole, but the shorts always ride up and pants get fuzzy in the thigh area.0 -
I can sooo relate! Omg and the shorts thing!? I thought that was just me! I hate it!
Funny thing is, once my husband noticed me really trying to lose weight, he said "you're not gunna end up with that gap between your thighs right? That looks gross. "....I guess that would too thin for him?0 -
girl, I feel like I wrote this. This happens to all my jeans, pants, leggings....you name it. And the shorts thing? I don't even wear shorts because of that. I have never worn shorts. Ever.0

rotfl i tot i was the only one with this problem. its an epidemic!0
-
You don't need a gap to keep them from rubbing together like this. Thinner thighs, yes, but the gap is not necessary.0
-
I think you need to invest in better jeans.0
-
That happened to me with a nice looking pair of jeans I once had0
-
Don't flame me for saying this but maybe it's the jeans? I've had the same pair of jeans for several years and my thunder thighs (which could start forest fires from rubbing together) have never done that.0

I think this is one of the most relatable posts I've found thus far
The shorts thing soooo drives me nuts! I love wearing shorts but hate having to re-situate them every 30 seconds :noway:0 -
You don't need a gap to have that not happen.0

It never occurred to me that there was even such a concept as a "thigh gap." I'm learning so much from this site! Also, I guarantee 99% of guys have never even thought about this... so I wouldn't worry too much :-)0

Omg I thought I was the only one!!! Hahaaa, this alllways happens to me!! So annoying. ( My thighs are the very last place I lose fat.0
-
I didnt have that problem with my pants when I was 340. My thighs were so smashed together there wasnt much room for rubbing. lol

I never really got this thigh gap-thing because I always had one (a slim one who is way bigger now, but still) and I don't like when people say that it's the ultimate sign of a thin person - because it's not.
But I never thought that simply rubbing your tights together would cause such holes in your jeans!! Whoa. o___o I feel really grateful for my thigh gap now...0 -

This happens to me -_- I guess I should stop wearing such short shorts but I like them but every couple of steps, they're up there lol0 -
OMG it looks like a dog got hold of.your jeans. But I can totally relate ttough0
-
Yup, I relate no doubt. SO frustrating! :explode: especially when money is tight. When I notice my jeans starting to do that, I iron a denim patch on the inside (has to be before it frays too much, though) which increases the jean life a little, but I still never feel like I get my moneys worth on jeans.0

Wow, my thighs touch and now rub, but that's never happened! I even buy cheapy jeans from Target and Old Navy.0
-
Oh thank GOD I'm not the only one with this problem! Many of my jeans have gone to trouser Heaven because of this. I have a favorite pair that just became victims of this gapless phenomenon. I'm sooooooooo tempted to keep wearing them!0
-
i have gone through my share of ruined pants, for the exact same reason, since i was about 11 years old.
It has only been the last 14 months or so that i am now more apt to wear out my jeans from scuffing up the bottom edge of legs from so much walking, and never because the inside thigh seam had worn through yet again *S*
You are going to love that when you reach that point! keep up the great work!0 -
I so understand I have nice pants that cost a pretty penny ruined by my thighs UUUUGGGGHHHH and Im not willing to patch them. But I fear because of my body structure even if my thighs where muscular they would still do the same thing to my pants.0

^^Same here! Yikes!! Damn..this is making me appreciate my thunder thighs NOT doing this to me o_O0 -
Yeah my inner thighs are pretty dark from the rubbing together and i'm in Florida so it's sweat season down there a lot. I hate that sweaty looking crease on the front of my gym shorts too. Ugh when i'm on the treadmill and elliptical my shorts ride up so badly in the front. I have no choice but to wear leggings underneath....:frown:0
-
My thighs touch when I stand with my feet together, but not when I walk. I think you may find this problem ends long before you get into the modern definition of 'thigh gap'.0
-
I've never had that happen to my jeans, but damn do shorts ride on up between my thighs. And wearing a dress or skirt and walking around all day? Hellooooo chub rub0
-
I can't even wear a skirt or dress without pain right now. W.T.F?! I don't think I'll ever have a gap, but I sure would like to have my shorts stay in the same place as when I pulled them on!0
