How often does everyone weigh themselves?

Every Monday morning at 7:00am. I had a week where I looked all the time. Early mornings seemed to give me the best results. I've started doing measurments once a month.0

Every Thursday morning0

Daily, I'm kind of an addict.0

I weigh myself almost everyday, naked, after the "morning routine" and before I shower or eat/drink anything. It can sometimes be discouraging to see the number nudge up or stay the same, especially when I've been really "good" the day before.
My trick to stay positive is that I only update my weight in the fitness pal when it goes down from the previous lowest weight. Sometimes this happens daily, sometimes it takes a week for the number to go down (which sucks!) but when it goes down, I log it in no matter how small the change.
I'm far from perfect but I know that overall I am doing the right things to help lose weight. So I try to focus on the positive by only acknowledging the number when it goes down. Besides, there are so many things that can make it read HIGHER than it really is: bloating, too much sodium, that time of the month, constipation etc. But I figure nothing can make the scale weigh me LESS than I really am. So when it says my weight is down, I believe it and go with that.0 -
Every day as soon as I get up, weight fluctuates up and down from day to day but I don't let it bother me as long as I see a downward trend from week to week. : )0

Every morning. I wake up, use the restroom, and get on the scale and like others have said, I get on and off a few times because my scale will fluctuate by about 0.5-1lb. My feeling is that if I weigh myself and I'm happy with the number, it gives me the motivation to eat better for the day to keep up the good work. If I don't like the number, it also gives me motivation to make even better decisions for the day because I disliked the number so much! It's working for me so far!0

I don't own scales, so I weigh in at the gym. Usually at the same time of the morning, wearing the same clothes ( I have several sets). I WAS weighing in 3-4x a week, but I am trying to break the habit.
Over the weekend I kinda had a mini binge--I ate way too many carbs ( probably 150-200g on Sunday vs the 100g I am used to eating), so on Monday I was up 1.4lbs. I decided that this week I am NOT stepping on the scale til Friday morning, and hopefully I will have lost the bloat from my weekend. It was HARD to not to step on the scales today, it is ingrained as part of my normal routine.0 -
Every day before I shower. I have to have the scales in the exact same place on the floor, I strip naked and then weigh 3 times and take the average (my scales usually vary by 0.25-0.5lb each time).
You should get a new scale. Weight Watchers makes a terribly accurate one.
I do the same though, every morning. Every day, before every shower, stripped naked, with the scale in the same place for accuracy.0 -

Absolutely! That's me to a tee! Great job!0 -
Daily I only pay attention to Saturday mornings though as far as progress markers0

Why would too much sodium make you gain weight?0

this sounds weird but once a week in the mornings after a BM but before I eat shrug that is what my doc said to do0

water weight??0

I started weighing myself once a week in the afternoon (after work) but didn't think this was right. What does everyone else do?
The best time to weigh your self is first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything. If you weight than the food or drink you have consumed will make your weight a little more than you really are. Best of luck!0 -
Do it once every week (or once every two weeks if you have less than 15lbs to lose), in the morning just as soon as you wake up but after you do to the toilet. Also, make sure you've had adequate sleep - sometimes I find I feel and look incredibly sluggish if I've had less than 5-6 hours of sleep.
Using a measuring tape, I measure my bust/waist/hips every Friday morning after I wake up.0 -

Every morning first thing. I curse when I see my weight go up, but don't sweat it since I have really seen it fluctuate wildly. I just watch the trend of it going down overall.0

Whenever I go to the mall >.> My weight scale broke and I haven't bought a new one yet. The one the mall has charges me a dollar but it tells me my body fat percentage too. I wish I could weigh myself once a week, but once a month will do.0

Weigh myself every morning after I wake up and after I use the potty room.
I record it twice a month on here.
Every few days on my own personal excel sheet.0 -
I don't have a scale, but there is a scale at the gym I go to, so I weigh myself there. Not every time I'm there though - just when it occurs to me. Maybe once or twice a week. I like to see if my weight is changing or staying the same.0

Usually every 2 weeks in the morning right after my shower0

I weigh myself once a week on Saturday mornings.0

I weigh myself once a week, every Friday morning, under the exact same conditions. I wake up, eat breakfast, work out, go to the bathroom (every ounce counts lol), strip down and weigh myself before I get in the shower. I find that the consistency puts me at ease and lets me know exactly what I have lost. I would never weigh myself more than once a week though.0

I weigh daily...just an obsession But my Official MFP weigh in day is the 25th of the month.0
