Welcome everyone to the 3,500+ calories burned challenge. This weekly challenge has been going on for over a year now and it's open to everyone! So nice to see so many new faces these last few weeks - hope it continues; people are setting higher goals and getting more calories burned!

This is a weekly challenge to meet 3,500+ calories burned. You set your own calorie goal for the week (even if it's below 3,500 - you can work your way to that goal!). Each day post the calories you burned, current total and how many you have to go. That's it, not too hard, other than push push pushing yourself to hit your goal. Everyone is such an inspiration on this challenge. Keep up the good work for the people returning and welcome to the newbies.

    Tues: - 0cals = Zumba, weights and sauna
    Wed: - 0 cals = Cooking, cleaning, running around
    Thur: - 0 cals = Zumba and sauna

    Sat: - 0 cals = Cleaning, laundry and cooking

    I normally do 1500/day with 1 day off per week...this should be interesting!!!

    Not trying to be mean AT ALL here but how does one burn this many calories, gardening, cooking, laundry, cleaning and piddling around??? Do you just wear your heart rate monitor around all day??? I'm fascinated!

  • First timer here, though I have been using the site for a while. I am going to set my bar for the week at an even 5000 cals

    My second week doing this, after a successful first week at 3.5k calories! I will up the goal and push myself to reach it!

    It's hard for me to burn 500 a day since I'm in maintenance but I've made a goal to kick up my exercise a bit because I feel like I've gotten in a rut so I'm going to give this a try this week and see how it goes.
