    Just joined MyFitnesspal, and saw this challenge. Looks perfect for me since I am currently in training for my first full Ironman (Florida on Nov. 3) My goal for the month of August is:

    16.5 Miles- Swimming
    650 Miles- Bike
    112 Miles- Run

    So far-
    Swim- 6.8/16.5
    Bike- 234/650
    Run- 48/112

    I was so busy with my workouts I forgot to post them. Catching up on everything since Tuesday:

    8/8 - Masters swim (approx 2000m)
    8/9 - Run 5.5 miles
    8/10 - off
    8/11 - run 5.5 miles, swim 500m
    8/12 - 2 mi ocean swim / 12 mi bike

    Finally a day with no wind. I managed a long (for this kind of terrain), very hilly ride this pm.

    August totals:
    --Swimming 5.03 miles (goal 12 miles)
    --Biking 41.1 (goal 53.6 miles)
    --Hiking 31.3 (goal 75 miles), elevation gain 1,965m (goal 3,000m)

    Workout 40-42 hours - 20.4 hours so far

    Wish I would have seen this at the beginning of August....maybe next year? Not sure if I'll be able to do next month...can try all depends on the weather (and my neighbor's schedule since I swim in her pool) :D Also I am a new swimmer (just learning).

    Run/Walk = 94.25 miles
    Bike = 224.1 miles

    30 miles of this week's Run/Walk have been of the Run variety which I am very proud of since I couldn't run 100 yards 4 months ago. Each day this week I have done a .4 mile warm up walk followed by 5 miles of "running" (12 min. miles).

    No swimming this month, but I do have swim training scheduled to start Sep 5th.
