    My biggest pet peeve regarding grammar, ironically, is people constantly posting threads about their grammatical pet peeves.

    Try not reading threads with Grammar Pet Peeves as the title.

    Ugh. Like nails on a chalkboard. "Here is a photo of my friend and me" is the right way.

    The only thing worse than this for me would be "Here is a photo of my friend and myself." For some reason, it makes me want to shove sharp objects into my ears.

    YES. Unless you're trying to imply that you took the photo of yourself, then I could maaaaybe let it slide.

    So - I have to ask. Are people constantly posting about their pet peeves, or are you constantly seeing threads about grammatical pet peeves? If it's the former that implies I am posting more than one of these, and in succession to one-another.

    And do you REALLY mean 'consistently' - because 'constantly' means...always. Consitently means regularly.

    The correct way is "I feel nauseated."

    Lately, I've heard people say it feels 'fresh' in here, rather than it feels 'cool' in here. How can something feel fresh??
    Also hate it when people use a brand name for something. Like 'pamper' instead of 'diaper'.
    And 'get down' instead of 'get out' of the car.
    And 'I need to take my son a bath'. No, you need to 'give' your son a bath!

    As educated as I am with ADHD and being dyslexic grammar and spelling is always a challenge. Homonyms are the devil everything sounds the same is spelled the same in my head so I often get them wrong when in a hurry. Even when I use Microsoft Word it does not catch words spell right but in the wrong context.
    I know it is a peeve to many but my pet peeve is when someone sees bad grammar or spelling as ignorance. Simple is not always the case every time. It is bad enough I have to pre apologize before some journaling to people who have these peeves. I understand it but can’t relate. Pretty sure I made mistakes with this too. I did just say I was dyslexic. LOL

    I meant 'always' and I used it as an exaggeration. Also, your usage of an ellipsis is improper, sir. :wink:
