Hi all,
I walked for 70 minutes today. That brings my Sept total to 355 minutes of my goal of 1800 for the month. I'm averaging about 59 minutes/day. It was fairly humid tonight and I had to walk by myself in the dark - not my favourite conditions. So I'm proud of myself!
My MFP friend, c3jaam, is running her first 5K on Sunday. Let's send her good thoughts.
Happy walking, everyone. :happy:0 -
Walked 9 miles - September 6, 20120

28 minutes today - actually I did C25K, so technically I was running for 7 or 8 minutes (I was half asleep, the math is fuzzy). But since I was only going about 3.5 miles/hr I'll count it all as walking.

Hi All,
I walked for 60 minutes tonight. My total for September is 415 minutes against my target of 1800 minutes for the month.
It was a great walk tonight - the weather was good and it was still light out. Haven't eaten dinner yet - so now I feel as though I REALLY deserve it.
Have a great weekend, everyone. :flowerforyou:0 -
Two months ago, I started doing 30 minutes of a "brisk walk" 3 time a week. I'm now up to 51 minute walks 5 times a week. Twenty-four years of jogging have beat up my knees too much, so the daily "death march" is my alternative. I've lost 13 pounds without wrecking my knees and ankles.
This week, I'll do six days of 51 minute walks. I haven't measured the distance yet, but its over three miles. The big challenge is making it a habit. I've about reached that point.0 -
Well didn't walk but did play 71 minutes of tennis, or should I call it chasing the ball most of the time.0

9-7 walked 3 miles0

I walk to yard sales but it's almost the end of the season. I would like a walking buddy in my area.0

In the first 7 days of September...I believe I've done at least 10 miles worth of walking for the week. Some days have been better than others. Yesterday my step counter said nearly 17000...however I know that's not accurate for walking because I worked out on a stationary bike while wearing it...but I know I did at least 2 miles worth of steps yesterday. Today I hit a little over 10000. Pretty happy with myself!0
