5ft 4inchers, what is your weighloss goal?

I have never been able to get below 140. So, I will shoot for that as it is also the higher end of a healthy weight range and see what happens. Such a long way to go!0

I am 5'4 and currently weigh 166. I started out at 175. I was 103 in HS and have no desire to weight this again. I would however like to at least get to 120-125. Before when I weighed that I was comfortable and smal, but not toned or in shape, so I'm sure if I could get to that wt, and do it healthily and tone, I would be completely happy w/ the way I look. I just know where I'm at now AIN'T working!!!!!0

I am 5'4" and started dieting at 172 lbs. I am now at 165 lbs. I had lost 10 lbs within 2 months but fell off track at the gym and gained 3 back :-(
My goal is 130 lbs. that is when I looked and felt my best. Working out and changing my diet was a HUGE ordeal for me. I used to eat whatever I wanted and never gained weight, until I hit my early 40's.
I recently found out I had level 2 hypertension, which was the main reason I needed to get on track with diet and exercise. I LOVE spin classes and the elliptical. It is easy for me to go to a 5:30 am class and burn alot of calories very quickly!0 -
I'm going for between 150lbs and 154lbs (10.5st to 11st) because when I was at that weight it absolutely suited me and I was at my happiest. I say go for whatever makes you comfortable.0

I am 37 years old and 5'3.5". I started out at 177 lbs and in 8 weeks I am down to 159.6 lbs. My goal weight is 125 lbs, the weight I was in college. I was never super skinny. I would say I had an athletic build.0

I'm 5'4 1/2" - Pre-baby weight was 135. Pre-marriage weight was 120. CW: 162. I'm trying to get down to the 140s right now. If I get down to 130 with muscles and maintain then I will be happy. Aside from the numbers, I just want to be back where my thighs stop rubbing together and I feel fit again.0

I am quite large framed,
I have the baby making hips, broad shoulders, thick wrists, yadadada.
So I am thinking around 140 - 150.
No lower then 130 though.
I'm personally not going to stop exercising when I hit goal, so I may go lower then my goal.

Starting weight - 1 August 2010: 218 pounds
Current weight - this morning: 133.2 pounds
Lowest weight - 1 May 2012: 128.2 pounds

i am 5'3.75 and my goal is to maintain around 130...i have a medium frame and i carry my weight relatively well...i am 132.5 today and if i stayed put here for a while but was more toned i would be a happy girl0

I'm 5' 4", started at 156....stuck at 136....want to hit goal of 125 before the holidays!!!0

I started at 147 and now I'm at 115. Original goal was 125-130 because I didn't know if I could do it. Changed goal to 115-120 and hit that a couple months ago. Now maintaining.
Best part about the weight loss is that I'm a runner, and I'm A LOT faster with 32 less pounds to lug around.
Worst part is finding clothes that fit. Vanity sizing is out of control.0 -

I started out at 255, and am currently working to get to 200. Ultimately, I'd like to end up at 150-160, which would keep me nice and curvy.0 -
Here too! I got sick of myself at 176 (June 2010) and have been as low as 140 (October 2011). Now back at about 152 but hoping for 125-130. Not sure how the fat loss/muscle gain equation will affect the number on the scale--I'm more concerned with what I see in the mirror and how my clothes fit. Which right now is not to my liking.0

I am 5' 4" (well 5' 4" and half but no need to be too technical!). My starting weight was 167.8lbs and I am currently aiming for 145lb, then I will reevaluate. I have always had a "dense" body type and even at 150 I was in a size 6. I may revise my goal weight once I get to 145lb but for now 22.8 lbs to lose was daunting enough so that's where I'm starting.
Also, I am aiming for a weight loss of 1lb per week. I am doing this so that I have VERY achievable goals each week and won't get discouraged if I "only" lose a pound in a week.

I am right there with you--5:'4" and 143. I'm hoping to get to 125 eventually. I got down to 109 when I went through a divorce a few years back, but I think I would be happy at 125 now. I would love to lose 2 to 3 pounds a week, but not sure if I can do it.0

I think it all depends on how you are built/shaped. I am very curvy and weigh 210lbs! Although my Dr. wants me to get down to 170lbs, I would feel more comfortable between 145 - 155. However, it all depends on how I look and feel once I get closer to my goal.0

I am roughly 5'4" and my current goal weight is 150. I am at 170 now and started MFP back at 194. I will get to 150 and see how I look and feel.0

I was the same way. I went from 199 to 145 and then stayed between 145-155 for about a year.
I recently went to a weight loss doctor and he had me reduce my carb intake and run intervals instead of the normal 3 mile run I did every day. I've lost 9.5 pounds in the past week and half so it seems to be working!

I am 5'4 and just reached one of my weight loss goals. I started in the 190's earlier this year and am now 150. I feel incredible. My ultimate goal would be 130 for a solid and healthy BMI, but for right now my short term goal is to reach 145 to have a "healthy" BMI at < 25 and this goal is right around the corner.0

I have been wondering about the right weightloss goal for me. I am a petite and 143 pounds right now. I have looked through MFP for people like me and i have noticed that, the threads for short people are generally full of 5 feeters and below. So what about success stories from 5ft 4inchers and the ideal weight for us?
