Tuna Fish: What do you do with it w/o the mayo?????

I use infused olive oils.. Red pepper, or chili infused are my favorites.0

Cook some whole grain pasta.
Heat some evoo throw in some minced garlic.
Then toss the pasta and tuna with the garlic and oil.
Lastly top with some parmesan.

I've used light Catalina salad dressing in place of mayonnaise before; liked it a lot.0

I use light mayo (helmans-35 cal per serving) and very little of it (just enough to have it stick together). It's how I've always eaten tuna and tastes good to me!
me too...and I mix up chopped pickles, chopped red onion, chopped lettuce (or actually fresh spinach is great), and such a small small amount of helmans light - not even a whole serving. Since the other ingredients are "wet" - it all seems to stick together.
It was my husband's secret recipe (WAS as I have shared it many times now)....o, and pepper, lots of pepper....0 -
Some things should never go without mayo. I don't think I could completely eliminate mayo from my diet. In moderation, what's the big deal?
I so agree, I do not light to exclude anything - and I also like to use real butter while cooking (not tuna fish obviously). You need it to balance.0 -

Sriracha Tuna
2 cans tuna in water, drained
1/2 cup Greek yogurt ( I use either Fage or Chobani)
5 tsp Sriracha (little more, little less; to taste pretty much)
Mix all well. I either make my sandwich with Ezekiel break or romaine lettuce depending on my intake for the day.0 -
You can also try Avocado mixed with it. You can substitue anything with Mayo with Avocado, like deviled eggs also. It has alot of nutritional value including Vitamin E, The B-Vitamins, and Folic Acid!!!0

I eat it in coleslaw with the calorie wise coleslaw dressing. Its yummy0

usually i add a bit of salad dressing to it, or olive oil and seasonings, then stick in in a food processor to create a tuna salad without the mayo0

I mix my tuna with 1 oz of plain greek yogurt, 1T of sweet relish, and a bit of chopped up apples, tomatoes and red onion. Might sound strange, but it is delicious!0

I use mustard as well. Not alot of it though. (but I prefer it to mayo).0

Hate mayo so I don't eat a lot of tuna but when I do i usually just mustard, dill relish and curry. Going to try greek yogurt with it.0

I eat mine with a spoonful of plain yogurt, and some chopped capers. YUM0

I drain it, put it in a bowl add spicy mustard and eat it like that.. Sometimes i will stuff a bellpepper with it !0

1 Tablespoon of canola oil mayo is only 40 calories. Why deprive yourself ?? I mix a can of tuna with 1T of mayo and wrap it in lettuce... Yummy!!

I mix equal parts of dijon mustard and olive oil.

I also use Cardini's light ceasar dressing (1 to 2 tbsp).
OR:
3 tbsp Trader Joe's Simply Sour Cream (or Lilly's light, same calories) and some chopped chive and sacallion.
OR:
on Salad, with dried cranberries, shredded carrots, green lettuce, spinach, olive oil and walnuts (if you can eat them)0 -
I mix it with salsa and a little lime juice and eat it on toast...kind of like ceviche. Delicious!0

They have tuna delights in a pouch with all types of flavors; but I eat mine right out the can! :drinker:0

I use a small amount of fat free mayo (or light) and use mustard and a little sweet pickle juice and a chopped up sweet pickle, a little salt and a lot of pepper - BUT I'm not a big fan of fishy taste - so anyone like that out there?? Mustard really hides the "fishy"0

I don't know if it's been already suggested (No time to read alll the pages :happy: ), but I drain and sautee beans in a pan, then I add the tuna and eat cold as a salad. Sometime I throw a grain in there for a more filling lunch!0

Try mixing it with low fat natural ranch dressing, mashed kidney beans, and chicken soup mix... it is seriously the best combo ever!! I have it wrapped in butter lettuce leaves with chunky salsa as a 'wrap', and it's amazingly low cal but the high protein in the tuna and beans makes it a very filling meal!0
