    Wait just a second. I didn't say I finished BFBM :noway: I got through all but the last two circuits. I was yelling and cussing (as we say down here in the south aka cursing :laugh: ) at that @$%#%$ tv. I just couldn't get through the entire thing. I will eventually though. :bigsmile:

    Haha. Well, that's ok too. Makes me feel better actually, less like a loser. :bigsmile: But really, it was tough. Like I said, I didn't make it through either.

    Kim, how'd you like level 3?

    I had a love/hate feeling...it went fast tho

    You should do level 3...it's definitely more intense...I liked using the weight with jumping jacks

    I remember doing the cardio in level 2 the first time I did the shred and I couldn't do it without breaking. This time it was super easy. I would like to do some of the strength she's doing in level 2 though. I like the back workouts. I can't remember if level 3 focuses on that at all? Maybe I'll skip to level 3 next time I'm supposed to do level 2, just to remember.

    Level 3 works friggin' everything...do you remember the plank where you lift and arm and then a leg...I wanted to die...oh and the walking pushups...you will definitely work your back...can you tell I'm still a little disgruntled with Jillian, I swear she smirks at you on that one...but, she is motivating

  • This sounds like an awesome group! I'm currently on Level 1 Day 4 of the 30 day shred, but I just bought Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism & No More trouble zones. I'm just worried to do all 3 because I am not losing any weight doing the shred & I hate when the scale doesn't budge, even though I do love losing inches too of course!

    How is everyone doing on this slim down so far?

    On the first post, I have a link to the 30 day plan if you want it.

    I love the shred; but, your right...the scale doesn't really budge...however, I am losing inches and as long as somthing budges, I'm OK with that.
  • Plan to work out was derailed by a sick kid. Hopefully she'll be feeling better by tomorrow and I can get my workout in. To make up for today I plan on doing 2 workouts on Saturday. I don't know if that's against the "rules" but that's what I'm gonna do.

    Stayed on track with my calories though. Lots of fresh veggies and lean protein.

    Yep, the shred didn't make me lose any pounds, but did make me lose inches. I think with the other two dvds, there should be more cardio and you may see the scale move a bit. But, you are gaining a lot of muscle using these and it might not move as much as you want it to or you think it should.

    But, welcome. This plan is really killer. I kinda like it.

    I did NMTZ last night.

    Not sure I'll get to do anything today or tomorrow. I will probly throw my dvds in my bag in case I can get them in, but not sure. There was no waking up early for me today. I figured as much.

    Did nothing over the weekend - was gone. I will do day 11 tonight and continue on. I believe its a shred tonight.

    Results! Since getting Banish Fat Boost Metabolism, and using it 2 days last week, my weight dropped 3 lbs. It had been hovering at the same point for over a month. I'm interested to see what will happen from here...

    Yesterday I did Pilates, followed by Level 3 of the shred. I still don't have No More Trouble Zones but am noticing that while my legs are shaping up nicely, my arms / shoulders could really catch up. I'm guessing NMTZ would really help with this?

    Thank you to everyone posting -you are motivating and inspiring.... !!!

    Did shred level 2 last night.

    Tonight Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism. Maybe I'll be able to finish it tonight. I need to - at least put in a really good effort to get through it.

    BTW, I was walking down the stairs and stepped on a dog toy with my right ankle and twisted it...so, as I was falling, I tried to break the fall with my left and and knee...I did shred #3 yesterday and everything was painful...couldn't even bear weight on the wrist

    Kim, that sounds awful. Hope you didn't injure yourself badly. Maybe it'll go away soon.

    I skipped my workout last night. Not good based on what I ate yesterday, but the sleep was very nice. My girls didn't go to bed til 9:30 and then I laid down and was out. Feeling good today though, so maybe I'll get that BFBM done.

    Ok, yesterday i started level one o the shred as day one of my slim down ... used handweights for cardio and kept up well :)

    Well, I did BFBM - most of it. I'm not really feelin it. I may give it one more shot. If not, I'll sub 50 mins. on my elliptical for this one. I'm not gaining anything if I don't do all the moves. I'll burn more calories on the elliptical - weight loss mode. But, I'll give it one more try.

    NMTZ isnt on on demand any more (Quick NMTZ is, boo) and that's the only dvd I don't have :( So instead, yesterday I did 'last chance' workout. Today is day 4 and I'm doing Shred level 1. BFBM tomorrow. Yay. week one is almost done :)

    i like it. I have done the section with lower body & upper body, but the last chance is about 25 minutes and it's pretty effective. each circuit is 30 seconds or so and you rotate between strength and cardio just back and forth for those 25 minutes. If you have ondemand, its on there under the biggest loser workout :)

    I'll check it out...if you look under the 30 day one...I think you will find a quick NMTZ that's a bit longer

    Also, try 6 pack abs with Cindy Whitmarsh...killer ab workout in 14 minutes...I guarantee you will be sore
  • Just finished Day 9 Level 3 (subbed for level 2) and went on and did the chest and abs circuit on NMTZ. Preliminarily checked my inches yesterday and I was pleased.:bigsmile:
