1/12 - walking 22 mins
2/12 - walking 45 mins and tons of housework!
3/12 - home workout with weights - 25 mins total 200+ reps of various arm exercises with 3kg weights, 5 min cardio workout (phew). No specific walking today but busy office day and over 11000 steps achieved :-)
4/12 - 65 min gym session - running, rowing, cycling and some weights and stretching. Lots of walking round my office again - I had done over 2 miles by 10.30 this morning! Burnt enough to treat myself to my favourite christmas treat - wensleydale cheese with cranberries - yummy :-)0 -
12/1 - Treadmill 35 min weights 35 min

12/3 - Walk university 20 min

Dec. 3: deadlift 5x3 at 95-105-115-130-140 lbs // Klokov complex @ 65 lbs x 5 // 7 minutes of double-under practice
Dec. 4: 4.67 km jog/walk intervals, 3:1 (30 minutes) // push press 5x3 at 55-65-70-75-85 lbs // 3 x (10 L-holds + max effort push-ups) // 3 x (max effort ring rows + max effort ring row hold + 20 hollow rocks)0 -

December 2---212 minutes walking dogs----30 minutes walking with hubby
December 3----213 minutes walking dogs---90 minutes line dance practice for performance---35 minutes yoga
December 4---189 minutes dog walking---48 minutes weight training
:flowerforyou: jdforshort, my feet feel great all the time.....I have worked up gradually to walking that much....on cold mornings I wear Columbia Bugaboots (rated to keep your feet warm down to -25 degrees), on warmer wet days I wear New Balance waterproof shoes, and for line dancing and dry weather walking I wear Sketchers Shape-Ups......I don't do all the walking at once......40 minutes first thing in the morning....90 minutes after breakfast.....other walks 20-40 minutes in the afternoon....and two hour line dance three days a week.0 -

12/1 - Rest day
12/2 - Hike 90+ minutes carrying my backpack loaded with 4 ankle weights ( about 10 lbs) 2 large water bottles, my PBJ, some dog treats, and my dog tethered to my waist. All carried uphill to the Eagles Nest Viewpoint. I'll get the pic tomorrow.
12/3 - Run 45 min, Up & down the stairs at home 15 min, calisthenics 45 minutes (crunches, pelvic lifts 8-16 lbs, squats, side bends 16 lbs, pushups, leg curls w/ leg weights-5lbs)
12/4 - swim 40 minutes, 100 crunches
Hey Machchic, I see you are doing 100 sit-ups a day. I think I'll join you, but I'll be doing crunches. Anyone else want to do situps or crunches too?

Hi everyone, great to find this site and this message board. I was wondering how to input certain exercises. I tried to put in resistance bands into the my daily exercise schedule and it won't accept it. Is there a list of exercises that it will accept? Thanks
When you are are on the add exercise page, type "a" in the box and click on "search." That will display a list of all the exercises in the MFP database. You can do this for cardio and strength. If I don't see exactly what I've done, I usually choose something like "aerobics, general" or "upper body strength." But below the selection box is an option to add your own custom exercises if you want.This thread really motivate me to exercise, thank you!0 -

5/12 - home workout with weights - total of 150 reps, 25 half push ups, plus 10000 + steps on my pedometer today - whoever says office work is sedentary has not been to my office!!!!0 -

12/2: Indoor Rock Climbing, 2 hours. Light walk, 1 mile.
12/3: Weighted squat tabata (2 minutes @ 30lbs, 2 minutes at 20lbs). Ab Bike Tabata, 2 minutes.
12/4: Krav Maga, 2 hours.
12/5: 3 Sets Bench Press w/ Barbell @ 40 lbs. 3 Sets Lat Pulldowns @ 50 lbs. 3 Sets Seated Row @ 50 lbs. 3 sets diamond pushups @ 5 reps. Ab Bike Tabata, 2 minutes.0
