Accept, even without a message. Really, I don't know why people make such a big deal if there's no frigging message!

I agree!!! Some people act crazy about this! It's not a big deal!

    Because it's just f*cking weird..

What's so weird? We are here for the same reason (mostly) I see people sometimes on forum's and realize we have a lot in common and I don't have time for a message. This is MYFITNESSPAL not Facebook.

i pretty much just hit accept. i figure we're all in this together, and the worst things that they will learn about me is that my maintenance diet includes going to subway a bunch, eating a lot of clif bars, having a few vodka /diets, and spending years on the exercise bike.

When someone sends you a friend request, do you

    a) Just hit Accept. What is the worst that could happen?
    b) Immediately check out their profile. Is it filled out? Is it funny/scary/informative? Are there naughty/hot photos?
    c) Check out their Friends list. All men? All women? Is your arch nemesis there?
    d) Subject them to the immediate scrutiny of your existing friends. Crowd sourcing for the win!
    e) Resort to tools such as Google and Tineye. What is the REAL dirt on this person?
    f) Other

    Inquiring minds want to know!

B, But not for the naughty pictures as I'm in a committed relationship, lol. But I do look to see if it is at least filled out. I am getting out of the habit of just accepting friend requests without an message attached now. It just gets annoying because when I do accept when there is no message there is usually no support from them, there is no "hi" or whatever from them. I'm not looking to collect numbers. I'm looking to have some real friends and motivation from the people on my list. So, I just end up deleting them eventually anyway. But that's just how I roll, personally.

A & B. The whole interview process before accepting someone is a little much. That delete button can be magical.

A - I just accept. If someone ends up being annoying, then I can delete them. I don't really think much of friend requests.
