I challenge you to lose 5 pounds this month! About 9 months til Christmas. If you can lose 5 pounds a month for those 9 months....45 pounds lighter by = 45 pounds by Christmas!

Hey if I could lose these last few stubborn pounds before my anniversary on the 20th, I'd be happy. So I'm in for this month.

Goal for April is at least 255 lbs.

I need to be 165 at least by May 2nd. That will be me first wedding anniversary and I need to weigh what I did when I got married (I gained 13 plus unemployment pounds)

Starting weight: 129.5, Goal weight 124.5:laugh: One hundred and bleeping twenty four is actually in sight!???! This is amazing!
A quick update on the Happiest Flipping Place On Earth - well, of course it wasn't. Do you know it's a hundred dollars to get in these days. Aye, carumba. And churros and vitamin water for the kids was about 5 bucks per item.
AND THE FOOD!!! It's a crime - or it really should be. The only salad I could find was a hunk of romaine with nothing else on it which they called a Caesar salad. Anyway, mercifully the younger demented teen wanted to go home after a few hours so we made a quick escape.
I didn't do any damage to myself food-wise, but that's because I didn't eat anything at all which isn't good for blood sugar (especially when standing in a 45 minute line with above mentioned demented teen.)
So, here's to April - bring it on!!0 -

You can do this! Everyone who stayed with this thread either lost or maintained during March and many achieved the 5 pound loss. Support is a very powerful thing.0 -
Okay, back to my own scale at home. I guess I celebrated both too prematurely and too much. Had some munchies at Mom's. Anyway, lost 4 lbs. last month. Weighed in at 138 this am. I did change my goal also to 130. I think I would feel more comfortable. Having a healthy burrito for lunch and then going with hubby to the Y to workout. Actually I'm not a gym person, I perfer to walk outdoors but it is snowing, so I will try the treadmill or indoor track. Hubby really wants to do upper body workout and recumbent bike. So here's to the next 5lbs. going away this month.:drinker:

My starting weight at the beginning of the year was 150 pounds.
I did manage to lose my five pounds in March (just barely)
Starting weight for April is 129 pounds.
Goal for the end of April is 124 pounds!!0 -

I have been in this group since Jan 10th when I joined MFP. I have lost 5 every month so far. I didn't think it was possible but now I know it is so I'm going to keep going until I reach my goal and then will continue to maintain.:laugh: :laugh:

I only lost 3 lbs last month so I am changing things I am no longer going to eat my workout calories and see if that helps. I went to the gym and worked out for a hour and a half.
I weighed in today because this is the first but after this week I will weigh in on Fridays. One day isn't going to make a difference I don't think.

I am in as well! I did the march challenge and it keeps me on track to weigh in! I will be weighing in on Mondays instead of Fridays though! My home scale I found out was completely off and I have decided to use the Dr's scale to keep track on weight once a week!

It is so awesome to see so many new faces. Friday is our official weigh-in but I know many of us posted our weight yesterday so for this first week it is up to you to decide if you plan to post your weight today or not. I am not going to just because I weighed the same this morning that I did yesterday.
I was thinking about going for an outside walk right now but it is so dark so I am going to jump on the treadmill as soon as I am done posting. I am actually glad I weighed the same I had a tired stressed out day and then last night we went to a great Mexican Place and I ate a Burrito Cancun. (It is a seafood burrito and it is so good.) The only good thing I did there was to not eat the rice that came with the meal. I had a Margarita and chips and the burrito. Back to business today. I know the weekend will be bad because we are going to my parents. I know why I have a weight problem. My mom is always baking and thinks you should always be eating, but she has never had any weight problems. Go figure.
Anyway off to exercise.
