What's in your Oatmeal?

Am I really the only person that cracks an egg into their oatmeal? I put 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 cup water, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 tbsp stevia in the raw, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract with 1/2 cup rolled oats and microwave it for 5 minutes at 50% power.. then throw an egg in there and stir it up and microwave it until the oatmeal thickens. It basically turns into a gigantic bowl of hot brownie batter. Delicious. Sometimes I add some blueberries, raspberries, cherries, or PB2.
Not for long! That sounds delicious0 -
I put in 1/2 cup of homemade apple sauce.0

Cinnamon and blend in 2 TBSP of one of the following: Smuckers Sugar-free Preseves, boysenberry, red raspberry, blueberry, apricot, peach or orange marmalade. it's awesome yummy, fills you up AND is a nice zero sweet tooth fix.0

sugar-free with spray butter and tsp of peanut butter and fat free flavored creamer0

I usually make mine with water. I've had a hard time getting to my calorie goal on lifting day recently though so I'm trying milk, but I haven't perfected it. I go through spurts where I add the same thing forever then I'll randomly switch.
Currently I do:
1/2c old fashioned oats
1c water or milk
1 tbsp raw cacao nibs
1/2 ounce walnuts
2 tsp raw local honey (its for my allergies I swear)
splash of milk if I didn't make it with milk
Other things I've put in my oatmeal (most of them seem pretty popular)- cranberries, apples, peanut butter, chia seeds, banana, and pumpkin pie spice.0 -
These Oatmeal ideas are awesome!!!

I saw a recipe for baked oatmeal on the Food Network and found several healthy recipes on-line. Has anyone ever tried it?0

Apples or apple sauce. If I do instant oatmeal, I usually try to stick to the lower sugar Quaker variety and add a tub of lite cinnamon apple sauce to it (50 cals). Or I do steel cut oats in the crockpot and add a few cubed up apples, some cinnamon and a little bit of brown sugar (water for liquid).0

Dried fruit. I'm trying to give up refined sugar, so this is a slightly healthier way of adding some sweetness!0
-
i make mine with 1/2 almond milk and 1/2 water... then i mix in some vanilla right before its done cooking, then some cinnamon and splenda and i top it off with a little bit of coconut almond milk. soo good!0

I love overnight oats!
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/2 TBSP chia seeds
1/2 TBSP brown sugar
frozen mixed berries
Mix it all up and put in the fridge. I would make a week's worth every Sunday and they kept fine.
I'm trying to cut out dairy and added sugar so I will definitely be trying some of the other recipes on here.0 -
Usually just Ground Chia Seed and Cinnamon. I sometimes add in some Steevia or honey =D

This gave me so many great ideas! I'm not an oatmeal eater, but I'm sure I will be after trying some of these!0

I mix equal parts oats and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. (I eat it cold.) When I was first starting to phase in the oatmeal, I put sugar in it (brown or white), but now I actually like it without any sweetner.0
