    Share your favorite protein shake recipes! I'm looking for new ideas. Here are a couple of my favorites:

    Coffee Coolatta Shake:
    1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder (pretty good with vanilla too)
    6 oz. unsweetened almond milk, or milk of choice
    3-4 ice cubes
    1 tbsp. nutella
    1-2 tsp. instant coffee (to taste)
    SO good!

    Peanut Brittle Shake (got this one from bodybuilding.com)
    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    6 oz. unsweetened almond milk, or milk of choice
    3-4 ice cubes
    1 tbsp. natural chunky peanut butter
    1 tbsp. jello sugar free instant butterscotch pudding mix

    THE NUTELLA OMG. I make the same thing every morning but with a half of a frozen banana in it! Now I need to try it that way

    Just did this one this morning

    4-6 ice cubes
    6oz Almond Milk
    1 medium banana
    1 scoop chocolate whey
    1 tablespoon almond butter

    makes about a 12-14oz drink

    Calories : 368
    Fat: 13g
    Carbs: 40g
    Protein: 29g

    Great start to the morning drink!

    I'm gonna try this tomorrow morning with some instant coffee added! That's really good macros to start the day with!

    I haven't tried coconut milk so I can't speak for taste, but I choose unsweetened almond milk for it being low calorie, still makes shakes creamy, lower carb too.(as long as you choose unsweetened). Also, I do not like to have dairy products In general.

  • Strawberry Banana:
    - 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
    - 1/2 or 1 whole banana (can be frozen or not)
    - 1 container Fage 0% Greek Yogurt
    - 1/2 cup water (and more if it's too thick)
    - 1 handful ice cubes
    - Optional: add 1/2 scoop protein powder (vanilla) for more protein; 1 packet of sweetener if you want it sweeter

    ~~~Blend frozen fruit, water, and ice first, then add the other ingredients and blend more.
    (I also make the above ^^ smoothie with only strawberries. I bet you could sub those fruits for a bunch of different ones)
    Chocolate Protein:
    - 1 scoop protein powder
    - 1 banana
    - 1 cup water
    - 1 tbsp cocoa powder
    - 1 packet stevia
    - 1 handful ice
    ~~~Blend protein powder, water, stevia, cocoa, and ice first. Then blend in banana.
