Hairy men

I think hairy guys can be attractive (burly manly men can be sexy as heck)
but I think non hairy guys can be attractive too.
I think as long as it's not out of control (i.e. if I can braid your back hair, it's too long) it's fine.
My husband cannot grow hair on the bottom half of his calves from years and years of taping when he played football. It looks ridiculous. Good thing he's not really a hairy guy to begin with or it would REALLY look weird.0 -
Hachachacha, me too.0

What's the general consensus among the women?
Hairy chest/stomach is good/meh/avoid?
What about back hair?
As long as he manscapes using a body trimmer without overdoing the waxing - no complaints. Hairy chest/stomach >>> Uber masculine, hot and sexy!!!
Edited to add: Have never been with a man whose hairy, but I do hate how some men are severely self-conscious about it. ** IF some men are extremely affected by it >>> Laser hair removal to refine it some - without being overtly excessive is always an option.0 -
If I'm in the mood for a smooth chest, I typically reach for a woman ... but that's not to say that I would kick a smooth chested man out of my bed. Back hair should be waxed. Junk should be manscaped.0

hairy men=gross (meaning hairy chest and or back)
a nice smooth chest is the biggest turn on for me.0 -
Tweezing is going too far. But hey, I have naturally great eyebrows.0
-
I like a long full pelt of back hair that I can braid. Nose hair is pretty hot too.0
-
Hair all the way!0

I'm just saying.... I, personally, think a man that spends that much time waxing, tweezing, looking at himself... Ain't gonna have much time for anyone else
it takes about 10-15 minutes every other day. That logic is always good for a laugh each of the 10000 times it comes up on MFP though.
If you have a problem with a man that spends an extra 15 minutes in the bathroom every few days...well you're in luck because there are plenty of slobs out there for you!0 -
Not a fan of the hariy chest, back or butt:sick:
My husband has hair to the middle of his back and a beard to the middle of his chest0 -

Yay for stereotypes!0 -
FYI: The "men are supposed to be hairy" is just as body-shaming as "women are supposed to be a.) b.) and c.)." Not all men ARE naturally hairy... if you prefer it hairy, cool! If you prefer it smooth, cool! There's no need to tack on a sentiment like "because that's how he's SUPPOSED to be" or "I want to make sure he's a MAN, not a woman" and minimize another group of men.0

Ladies please..... theres enough hair to go around!

Totally! Just like all the women who shave don't have time for anyone else!0 -

Either one spends 10 minutes doing this or there's going to be hairs in your mouth. Your choice.0 -

I like a little hair, chest hair good, some leg hair good, a happy trail makes me oh so happy. I like a little facial stubble too, not a fan of back hair tho.0
-
i prefer smooth.
boyfriend is naturally a hairy beast, but also an ex-bodybuilder, so he manscapes and generally keeps his chest hair trimmed. he's also working in a steel mill right now, so he's not allowed more than two days' growth of facial hair. sometimes he shaves off all the chest hair plus the arm hair. and i shave his back every once in awhile, which i oddly enjoy. he said i can wax it once i get ahold of some waxing supplies, so i'm looking forward to that!0 -
Not one mention of ear hair...strange...I must be the only one. Yeah, I'm special like that0

What about ear hair? Quit discriminating...0

I hate that! I never have time to get ready, go to work or be a Mom on shaving days.0 -

I know... such a double standard.
I'm personally not attracted to a guy that is super hairy. Just not for me. Doesn't mean there is anything wrong with them but I just don't find it sexy. A bit isn't too bad.... but I want to be able to see skin and not just hair.0 -

Well, hopefully I'm not considered a slob just because I don't shave my hairy chest............0 -
As long as it doesn't creep up over the shoulders its all good!!!0

It takes about 10-15 minutes every other day.
Speak for yourself. I did that one summer. It takes a ton of maintenance and I'm a porcupine the next morning. Every guy is different. Tom Selleck would need a lot more time to pull this off than Justin Bieber and the former would only be smooth for about 12 hours before it came back in.0 -
Depends on the man the hair is attached to.
He rocks it wonderfully, though. I think it's a Latino thing.0 -
