  • I want to do this! I've had the DVD for ages which just sits and gathers dust. Time to actually get it out and stick to it!

    Does anyone have any tips on what to use instead of weights until I get some?

    Maybe use cans? Better than nothing, and a common household thing that wouldn't be too awkward to use.

    A one litre tertra pack of milk is around 1.2 kg and a two litre is a bit more than 2kg.

    Just done day 1. I hate jumping jacks! I'm so grateful for the abs and a lay down lol ;)

    Okay! I'm in! I started level 1 today...holy burn, batman! My arms and legs are SHAKING after, and I exercise everyday! I used cans because my weights are too heavy so we'll see how this first week goes... Can't wait to see how strong I am after 30 days!

    I use two diet coke bottles filled with water, easier to grip than cans. I also have two filled with sand for when I'm stronger. ( never got up to those last time round, maybe this time...).

    I'm pretty proud of myself...I made it 15 minutes through the 30 Day Shred Day 1 Level 1. Considering I've only been back into exercising for about a week and I've only been doing walking at that...I'm confident I'll get there...

    I'm with you about hating the jumping jacks. I'd rather do butt-kicks than jumping jacks.

  • My second day doing the 30 Day Shred. I had a hard time getting up after the ab work, so sore from yesterday. I'm doing it with 2.5 lbs. weights thinking about using 5, but I have my hesitations. I'm in if you still have room.

    What's type of exercises does this involve? And you "fit" does one need to be to attempt it? Can a newbie to exercising do it or is it too advanced?

    I did my Level 1 day 1 today and I am pretty sore now. It feels longer than 25 minutes! I hate the cardio parts!

    Make sure whatever you eat before your workout completely digests to curb the nauseated feeling.
