I guess it's been around 6 months now. I did 5 months straight of P90X, and now I go to the gym 5 days a week.

Hmmm. Benching on a Smith machine. Pet peeve of some.Old me @ 285 lbs
New me @ 192 lbs
About 18 months for the loss.
While it might be a "pet peeve" of some.... it's a smart thing to do if you don't have a spotter and want to up your weight.... don't judge !

No, I lost strength while losing weight, even though I was doing both strength training and cardio (circuit training, elliptical, running, spin) to lose weight. I got down to about 100 lbs lost + or - (goal) then began trying to get strength and size back. That's the stage I'm at now. Pretty much done with weight loss, trying to put on lean muscle.Sarge516 - amazing transformation! Did you gain strength while you were cutting? Bulked after?0 -
