I mostly move the can of tuna from one side of the pantry to the other as i look for something that sounds more appetizing. :drinker:

    Haha.

I have nothing to contribute to this thread. Carry on. :)

Avocado! It's so creamy mild flavored, I think it'd be great with tuna. In fact, I'm going to try that tomorrow

try making a tuna melt with yogurt (in the place of mayo) and spicy mustard, scallions, carrots chopped really tiny. scoop onto a whole grain english muffin and top with cheese made with 2% milk and cut cherry tomatoes on top and put oven on broil until cheese is melted. its actually really good and i dont even like tuna. I toast the english muffins a little before putting the tuna on it, and with the yogurt replacing the mayo, sometimes i use mostly fat free plain yogurt and then like 2 tbs of low fat mayonase with lots of mustard yellow and spicy (no calories). I want to show you a picture but I cant figure out how to post it on here

Tin of tuna (in springwater - NOT OIL), sliced fresh tomato, load on to fresh bread and dust with freshly ground pepper.

    That is all.

I MIX LITE MAYO, FAT FREE MAYO AND DIJON MUSTARD IN EQUAL PARTS. SOMETIMES I ADD GREEK YOGURT. THIS MAKES A TASTY (I THINK) ALTERNATIVE TO MAYO AND REDUCES THE FAT. I HAVE ALSO JUST ADDED A LITTLE OLIVE OIL TO REDUCE THE DRYNESS

Diced tomato, onion, and celery; you can add green peppers or jalapenos for a kick. I also like to squeeze lemon/lime juice and add some pepper. I then shred some lettuce on top and this is all over that 45 cal sara lee whole grain bread. I will add some mustard to the bread instead of the mayo. I combined some of my ideas with that of Jenny Craig. It is delicious. Good Luck on your quest!

    Oh so many things...

Greek yogurt with dill and pepper and lemon
Greek yogurt, curry, apple, walnut, mustard
Greek yogurt, ginger, wasabi, green onion
Pesto (if you can handle the salt - you can make the pesto yourself and cut some of the oil/salt)
Tapenade (again homemade to cut oil/salt)
    Spicy mustard and relish
    Lime, cilantro, and pepper
Laughing cow light, cucumber, chopped red pepper, and thyme
Tomato, red onion, olive oil, lemon, salt, pepper
Fat-free vinaigrette, basil, oregano, garlic, onion, pepper
Jalapeno, capers, lemon, olive oil, olives, avocado, hard boiled eggs

    and many many more

I hate mayo. Sometimes I eat tuna just out of a can.
Or I'll mix it with avocado/tomato and eat it in a tortilla.
Or I'll just drown it Frank's Red Hot Sauce...

Mix it with 2 egg whites and heat it on a nonstick fry pan until eggs are cooked. Put pepper, basil, oregano and a little turmeric. Eat it the way it is or make a sandwich with veggies.
