I've only learned not to trust anyone and nobody ever wants to be in a relationship with me. It's all always just a lie.

The best and most important lesson is that GRASS IS NOT GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE, and if it seems this way, TIME TO WATER YOUR OWN LAWN. Forgiveness is a beautiful measure. Be your each other's best friend. Be silly together.

I have learned I am not going to be taking for granted and I want to be appreciated. And It is important to laugh, smile and be happy. And dont forget the little things like hugging, snuggling and holding hands and saying I love you. And to be there for each other. I have found the love of my life and he is my true love. He is amazing and perfect and I love him so much.

That people lie, even if you don't.
That people cheat, even if you don't.
That people are mean, even if you aren't.

But, the most important lesson I learned on the last one is to trust in my instincts. If something feel's off, than there's a glitch somewhere.

be honest and communicate feelings even if it hurts.
sex and love are two completely different entities.
    do not settle.
take nothing for granted and appreciate the things that really matter.

You only get out of it what you put in. Always give your all.

    I agree very much.

    1. Don't return to cheaters

    2. If they lie to you a few times, chances are they've lied to you many more times.

    3. If you're not getting encouragement in any area, that's a red flag.

The two most important things in a relationship are communication and trust. If either of these are broken in any way, you're better off ending things.

If you have any doubt at all, leave.

If he cheats once and knows he can get away with it, he'll most likely do it again.

Any form of abuse = time to leave! It will turn physical with time

I've become very picky of the last few years. Thanks to my past relationships, I have a tough exterior and a huge wall; not many people have successfully broken that wall down. I am outspoken, honest, and truthful. Sometimes a little too straight forward. I refuse to settle for less than my dream come true. Plain and simple.

When you've been married 4 times, you need to look at the common denominator.

if they ask you, "did you ever have sex with that person?" ....... LIE.

    i have learned:
i have to love myself first before I can love
    my happiness comes from within
    to listen more
to care more about their needs & interests
    to love openly & honestly

AND, quite being such a FLIRT. it will piss people off.

    peace

I don't do family law, but four of the attorney's in my firm do. Holy moly...people never cease to amaze (and disappoint) me! :)

Speaking personally and professionally, I've come to believe that "kindness" is perhaps the most important quality of all to me. To be sure, there are other important qualities...but I just don't think I could ignore the absence of kindness in a person...or refuse to acknowledge, and credit, it's presence in a person. Truly invaluable.
