    It's funny (funny, weird AND funny, haha) that once you find somebody you really love - to the point that their needs are as important as your own - a lot of the things that are non-negotiable suddenly become possible. Says me, married to an alcoholic (recovered, thanks whoever). It is not a relationship if neither is willing to compromise to some extant. Otherwise it is a dictatorship.

    Child Abusers - Read Above, if you hurt something or someone that cannot fight back, and doesn't understand why you're hurting them, it's over.

    Racists/Homophobes - Seriously, it's 2013 get over it :grumble:

    1. Lying/cheating/stealing/manipulating/hot-n-cold tendencies. I lump all of these in the same category as they are signs of mental and emotional instability and lacking maturity.
    2. Abusive, mental or physical.
    3. Strip clubs/hookers/prostitutes, whatever you wanna call it, the answer is no. not now, not tomorrow, not for your bachelor party, not for your buddies bachelorette party.
    4. Anti-PDA or just non-affectionate
    5. drug dealers/substance abusers
    6. lacks regard for fitness and health
    7. not following through on plans/things you say your going to do
    8. sissy men. dont waste your time, please. I dont like a pretty, girly man. I need a rough, outdoorsy, alpha male who works with his hands. mmhmmmmm
    9. lack of intelligence or ability to hold a conversation. I need mental stimulation as well as physical.
    10. no sense of humor or fun in life
    11. lack of ambition to do more, see more, be the best you can be in life.

    That's quite a long list. But a girl has to know what she wants :)

    Not wanting to get physical soon enough
    Not wanting me to hang out with her friends


    Fortuately I'm married and none of this will ever be an issue again.

    However when one of our friends start dating and their significant other won't join in on the ribbing, or rock band or whatever, I'm not going to like them. Our Buddy Dave's husband does NOT play well with our group or at all really and wont even join in conversation with the rest of the group. So we don't like him, and we make every attempt to try to like him and include him in the group.

    As far as looks go, I've dated multiple men who weren't what many would call "physically attractive" and I don't think that matters.

    Financial instability. My husband and I have been together since he was 18 and if we split, I cannot imagine "starting from scratch" again financially.

    Smoking is pretty gross, too. I used to smoke and date smokers but I quit.

    A drivers license is a requirement.
