Wow, what an amazing results here! I'm 5'8 and just joined MFP about a week ago. My SW was 106 kg (233.7 lbs) and I set my GW at 75 kg (163.1 lbs) 'cause I thought that would be a hard enough goal. I've been 69 kg (152.1 lbs) about 15 years ago but couldn't maintain that very long. But now I see all those awesome results and pretty ladies of my height weighing way less than my goal, and I'm thinking I might have to reconsider my final goal.
Véry inspiring to see everyone's pics. Thanks for posting everyone.2 -

Hey I'll bite with this!
SW: about 300 (let's just say I avoided a scale like a plague lol)
CW: 173
I have a "large frame" very wide hips (I doubt I'd ever be smaller than an 8, and im barely a 10 now) and shoulders.
I'm hoping to be down another 13 pounds... but dang it's hard at this point! Would also like my chest back... lol.
Forgot to mention I'm 5'11"
Such an inspiration!! Awesome job!!14 -

Congratulations to everyone, amazing transformations... bumping for inspiration Hopefully I'll have some photos to add in a few months - 10.5lbs down.. quite a few to go!0

I'm 5'9.5 and apparently small framed when using the wrist/elbow measurement test... but I have pretty wide hips and shoulders so I dunno how accurate it is!! I started at about 184lbs (wearing UK 16) and I'm now at 154lbs (UK 12), currently heavy lifting and trying to reduce my body fat as I'm still pretty wobbly and have a flabby lower belly I want my true "after" picture to be in a bikini.. hopefully by the summer!!

I'm 5'8" - SW (Sept 2009) 240 lbs
- 1st big loss (Aug 2010) 188 lbs
- started again (Jan 2013) 229 lbs
haven't lost much yet -- but I'm bound & determined to get back down to where I was -- couldn't help myself, apparently... found the love of my life & we share the love of food, so I stopped working out & focused on us (& the 2 family members that I lost within a year)... time to take care of myself, again.1 -

I am going to watch this post. There are lots of you who prove it can be done. Thanks for the pictures. This is a post topic I needed to see today. Amazing. Maybe someday I will be able to inspire somebody too (and raid my nieces' closet after years of them in my make-up and hair supplies.)2

I'm 25 and 5'10/11, I started trying to lose weight around July 2012 at about 285lbs. I finally filled out my page the other day so if you'd like that info on why/how I've been losing so far it's there but I know we are all just looking for pictures in this thread!
So far I've lost about 75lbs and just recently moved from obese to only overweight - yay!
Some before pics:
These two are from college/soon after graduation, maybe 2009/2010?
April 2012.. This little lady is my niece.
These were taken the same week as the picture above. My birthday fell during an out of town work conference/Easter weekend - hence the cake & bunny ears.
Midway comparison pic.. about 40lbs down. I was finally starting to feel the change/get motivated to do more.
The left side is Feb. 2012 at my niece's 2nd birthday party and the left was around October 2012.
Finally.. Afters (and still going...)
Able to hold my head up a little higher at work. April 2012/January 2013
This was a big moment (you can tell by my big, goofy smile in the picture on the right). The left picture is from my best friend's wedding Oct. 2011 in a size 20 dress. The left is in Anne Taylor Loft, size 14 dress.
And finally this first picture was taken at my niece's 2nd birthday in 2012 and the second was her 3rd birthday, Feb. 2012. My boyfriend is down 45lbs and I am down 75. I still have a ways to go, I'd like to get to 180 then see what I can do from there.
Thanks for all of the amazing pictures you guys have posted. Nothing is more motivational than seeing that someone your size and shape can make the incredible transformations you ladies have accomplished. Keep it up!23 -

I am 6ft tall and so I am watching this thread I have only just started Feb 4 and I was 212 and now 201. Well I did do weight watchers for 6 mos in early 2011 and I got down by 37 lbs but then I gained a few back (was 230 when I started ww). I want to get down to 180 and from there maybe less. I was 160 when I got married in 1997. And I was 135 when I graduated from high school in 1989.0

I love this thread so I thought I would join in! I'm 5'11" and started out near 200 pounds in high school. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos when I turned 11 and I basically grew bigger from there. After losing about 15 since h.s. on a vegan diet, I've lost about 15 more on top of that since joining MFP!
That shows the biggest difference[ignore the gold club, long story...],
The blue shirt is actually from 6th grade! It's almost too big for me now, and that seems so crazy to me!
But I'm down about 5 more pounds to 169 currently:
My goal weight is about 145, but that's definitely just a general number, it could easily change!
I'm size 12 in jeans right now, not quite a size 10 yet, but I should be very soon!
I would totally love if anyone with similar stats wants to add me! I need all the support/motivation I can get!15 -
You look beautiful!0
