    Day 1 - walked 1(isn) hour looking for soccer cleats for my son (-.- he is very picky lol)

    I just joined MFP five days ago today and every day so far I've done a 25 minute, low-impact Beach Body workout video in the morning. Today, I got a shakeweight in the mail that I'm planning to add to my daily workout. So, I'm on day 5 of my own, personal challenge. :)

    DAY 8 for me today (Tuesday, 12 March)

    Outside (neighbourhood) walk - GPS calculations - 2.25 miles / 3.62 km - 36 min - 3.6 pace - total calorie burn 239 and moving on in my personal fitness challenge!

    I was someone who exercised regularly.... then sporadically .... then back issues held me back altogether...

    Hello MFP land!

    I'm so happy I stumbled across this thread because I just started exercising 3 days ago so I'll fill ya in. First off I'm really out of shape but then that is why I'm here. Secondly I have a number of regular things I discovered I enjoy doing considering how much I HATE exercise.

    Day 1 freestyle dance for 40 mins
    Day 2 20min yoga/ 1hr freestyle dance
    Day 3 ...paying the price for overdoing right off the bat when I know I have a bad knee. Very tired and ouchy today. Squeeked in a 20min/ 1mile :grumble:

    slow and steady.... will be better...and I can already see that you see that :smile:

    I have found that my past experiences - when I start out with a big bang - have lead to pain or just disinterest ... and not long term.. so your 20 min today... good move!

    TM walk this evening 31 minutes total - 3.5 / with incline (22 min) & 3 / without incline (9 min)

    I fell off the Wagon due to a bout of the flu and need some motivation to get moving again. I know I'm starting late... But hey... Gotta start somewhere!

    Tomorrow will be my day one! And I have a date with my running shoes.

    Day 8 (3/13) Aqua Power class and 30DS
    Day 9 (3/14) 30DS...1.4 mile walk to supper with my daughter (when I left it was 55 degrees, when we came out it was about 25 -- we called Dad to pick us up :blushing: )

    I will join this, too! This will be my day 2, though ;) I kicked my own butt at the gym on the elliptical. Today I have a personal training session and will probably do another 30min on the elliptical or treadmill. This is a cool challenge and a great way to make small goals for ourselves in this journey of becoming fit and healthy :)

    LEts call this my Day 1 because I took a few days off with Shin Splints.. I am working through the Insanity program, doing Couch 2 10k and Les MIlls Combat 3 days a week as well as some lifting.
