Hey hi ladies & gents
Congratulations on your losses for this week,not long to go now before the end of June. I set myself the biggest task, GOOD, cause I need to, but I am happy with what I have done so far, so nothing lost other than lbs :-) I have my weigh in tomorrow, then I might try get another weigh in next Monday because I am away from the 30th June through to the 15th July................CUBA here I come :-)
I wanted to be hear for the start of the new month, to set the goals etc, but if anyone fancies doing this for me for the month of July (ie. just keeping an eye on things and updating a master list) I would be most grateful, that way I can take over again either when I get back or for the August challenge?

We definetely have to keep this group going through July, as we motivate each other with encouragement and wise words of wisdom.
i dont think i will reach my target for next wednesday, but hey ho, i am happy that my clothes were starting to fall off me and i had to go buy new trousers i am now in UK size 12 trousers, was UK size 14 :happy:, havent been in this size for as long as i can remember.
I have managed to keep my goal for this week and drink loads more water

Well, I have been up and down for this first month of my journey. My goal was to get to 210 from 217. I'm at 214 as of yesterday so my number on the list is the same as last week. I just got back into the groove of working out after a week of nothing. I got bored with my workout so I had to change it up. I'm excited again!
Not sure about everyone else but I noticed that I don't post as much when I'm not doing as well or when I know I won't meet my goal. It's a struggle but I'm still here and I know this is good group. I'm going to give it my all this last week!!!! :drinker:0 -

I am down 2.6 this week! Whooohooo! I had upped my cals, and was hoping for a pound. This puts me at the 60 pound mark, a milestone that seemed so far away at the beginning of this journey!

I had a fantastic day today.......... not because of what i have eaten or exercise, as i haven't done any exercise today.
The reason why I had a fantastic day is because it is my Nan's 90th birthday today, and i made a surprise visit to see her on this special day.
I had to drive for 2 1/2 hours this morning from Hampshire to Birmingham, and she was pleasantly surprised to see her grandaughter and 12 year old great grandson. we had a great day with going out for dinner and catching up on family things.
i don't feel guilty one bit at not exercising today as the drive in itself has worn me out, hopefully the food from the restaurant should log okay, if its over then i will know not to eat anything else this evening.

Glad you found something you like again and you need to reverse the plan when your struggling that's when you need to post more so we can support your struggle!! I had to learn that because it's easier to go a day without doing anything and if you don't say anything it can lead to 2 or 3 more in a row so saying something can help turn that one day around and then back on track. Keep pushing hard I know I wont meet my goal for this month either but just knowing that we worked hard and tried is all worth the effort!!0 -
Wendy Happy Birthday to your grandmother that sure is a great surprise and a wonderful way to enjoy your day I wouldn't feel guilty either she only get that special day once a year!!!

i only have 1lbs to go, but i don't think i'll do it, i'm going on a small break an while i'm not aiming to eat horribly i don't want to be spending more time trying to keep to my kcals than enjoying myself ! still think i did pretty good!

Happy monday every one. 2 days to the end of week! I weighed in at 227.4 today which was surprising because I did not do much exercise this week and I ate over my calories most of the time.

Great job to everyone who lost on there weigh in today!!!
I weighed in ths morning I was down .2 but I plan on weighing myself on Thursday morning to see if I got closer to this month goal and to get ready for next month.
This weekend was just horrible next month my plan is to stay in control over the weekends!!0 -

I'm really down right now. I set a goal to lose 8 pounds, but I didn't even get close. This morning, I weighed in at 184.8... meaning I only lost .6 pounds (NOT EVEN ONE STINKIN' POUND!).
I was all the way down to 184.0 by June 5... after that, TOM came around, and I gained the (usual) 10 pounds (and it's actually all water weight). Since I always gain that much weight, I didn't really think about it (I always lose it about 4 days after my period). But this time, the weight didn't go down, or at least not like it normally does. I finally struggled to get down to 184.0 this morning.
I'm so disappointed in myself.0 -

I know how you are feeling as i weighed in this morning and again havent lost anything :noway: , this has happened for the last 3 weeks, it has just stayed the same, and I just want to scream and shout :grumble: at the scales to budge that extra pound.
I have sometimes felt like giving up thinking whats the point i am eating more healthier doing loads more cardio etc, but then it hits me i feel healthier as i know my running has improved with my speed and i am starting to think I look better in my clothes especially as I have dropped a size.:happy:
the weight will shift for both of us - we cannot give up!!!!0 -
YAY!!! 131.2 THIS MORNING:) ...I am out of town this week at my fiance's family's. I got a new scale as a bridal shower gift...the biggest loser scale! woohooo. So I tried it out this morning! I realize it is probably off from the one I have at home, but am still excited. It is hard being away from home and away from my routines--(plus we have been eating out!) but I have been trying hard! YAHOOOOOOOO!

I think we need to seriously put our heads together and see what we can do to stop the self sabotaging all together I have the same issue and I do know that it is not a race but I dont want to go the whole time 2 steps foward 1 step back all the way to the goal I rather find other ways to celebrate my success!!
My goal for July is to try and be good every weekend for the month I have gone way off course the last 2 weekends in a row!!0 -
Still holding out hope for my weigh in on Thursday morning to be in the 150's:happy: Today I went to Zumba class and loved every minute finally I am back in the gym I am so excited I really needed to be back around other people the at home videos are great but I think I need a mix again I was totally depended on them for the last 3mnths and I use to be a gym rat. I am so happy to be back in the gym now. It is time to chip away at these last unwanted lbs!!
On a bad note I was over 592 in sodium Yikes Can we say H20 all through the night to flush my system!!
Also I took my daughter's guinea pig "Spike" to the vet he didn't make it back home it's been really tough today for her so I have been trying to cheer her up all day!!
Looking foward to making the rest of the week exciting and fun and not over doing the weekend even though it's the 4th I think I have celebrated enough the last 2 weekends and my goal for July is to enjoy every weekend without over doing it with food!!0 -
I wanted to lose 7lbs this month but so far I have only lost 3lbs. I am finding it hard to lose weight. But I am in for the July team.
I was 140lbs
I am now 137lbs (hopefully i can lose 1lbs by the 30th)
I want to lose 6 - 7 lbs by end of July and be 130lbs.0 -
Tuesdays is normally my official weigh in day and yesterday i hadnt lost anything again for the previous 3 weeks. Today i weighed myself (which yes i weigh everyday - i know i shouldnt but i have too, to keep a check i have not drifted off course)
well anyway today i am 1 lb down. i was pleased the scales had finally decided to move. total weight loss for this month 6.4lb, not bad for nearly 7lb as wanted
i need to get more motivated next week, this week i have felt so tired and have not much interest in going to the gym or going for a run - i cannot let this happen anymore i have to kick my butt into shape and sort myself out. I think it is due to school finishing this friday an we have been so busy thats why i have no energy and am tired. 9 weeks break from school should hopefully sort me out!!
