I found this recipe that i currently love, i call them "healthy" cookies
1 cup quick oats
2 medium sized RIPE bananas
1/4 cup hersheys chocolate chips
Mash bananas, mix with oats and chocolate chips...i use my smallest pampered chef scoop and scoop them out on a cookie sheet...bake at 350 for around 15 - 17 minutes and VOILA!! They taste awesome, the scoop i use makes 30 smaller sized cookies and they are only 24 calories a piece, so i can have 4 of them and not feel guilty at all!!
I found this last week! Used Craisins instead--just the sweetness I needed. Next time I want to throw walnut and choc chips in.0 -
Fat free, vanilla frozen yogurt with orange juice. Tastes like a dream-sicle.
1/2 c. frozen yogurt and 1/8 c OJ = about 110 calories.
Edit: To satisfy my chocolate cravings I have a south beach diet chocolate meal bar in place of a meal (=0 -

Not sure if someone has already given these recipes out or not but i find them to be low in lots of ways...
Brownies
1 devils food cake mix
1 can of pumpkin
thats it, stir together and cook in muffin tins
(these stay super moist, and are a good chocolate and brownie fix)
these I think were 137 or 138 calories
Orange cupcakes
1 box orange cake mix
1 can diet orange soda
2 egg whites
1tbs cool whip for frosting
mix together and bake like normal cupcakes these are only like 82 calories, recipe made 29 cupcakes for me0 -
I have two lower-carb and low-fat recipes.
One is for a pie. Get a gram-cracker crust. A sugar-free jello pudding mix. Mix up the jello mix using skim milk, place in pie and cool. Can add lite whipped cream, or lite fruit topping. Cheesecake is really good. So is white chocolate.
Second is to take 9x13 baking dish. Spray with Pam. Cut 1/2 angel food cake into .5" to 1" cubes. Use to make bottom layer in dish. Next take a sugar-free jelly or jam or preserves and spread thinly over angel food cake. (I am bad sometimes and use regular cherry preserves). Then take 2 Jello Sugar-free mixes. Make one up normally using skim milk, then add second mix to it (no more milk) and mix for additional 60 seconds with mixer. It will make it very thick. Spread thinly over preserve layer. Take an lite whipped cream container and spread over Jello layer. Let sit for a couple hours in refrigerator and serve. With the Cherry Preserves it's best to let set overnight to let the flavors mix. I have been mixing and matching jams and jellos on and off for 6 months.0 -
Frozen grapes. They have a sugary texture. Or any fresh fruit drizzled with chocolate or topped with Jello pudding0

I love dessert! What a great thread - I copied lots of good recipes! I am pretty disciplined with sugar (except when PMSing lol) so I eat whatever dessert I want - but I only take 3 bites. Girly bites, not man bites lol. It works for me0

Sure. First thing that comes to mind is a cut-up bosc pear, topped with a container of Carb Master spiced pear yogurt, with the addition of chopped crystallized ginger or 1/2 tsp. ground ginger and a sprinkle of raw sugar.0

Dessert tonight is a pair of Pop-Tarts and two scoops of vanilla whey.0

I tried the 3-2-1 cake and I'm hooked. It really is as easy as 1-2-3.:flowerforyou:0

Not really.
The word dessert alone isn't healthy.
LOL.
Best your going to get health wise is just eating plain fruit.
That's about it.0 -
1 cup fruit salad - home made and 50grms of yoghurt (any type whatever you like ) around 200calories per bowl, enjoy enjoy enjoy0

beat an egg, add a tablespoon of cocoa powder, add some stevia, (optional: place a chunk of chocolate in the middle), bake for 15 minutes or microwave for 30-50 seconds, turn the bowl upside down and let the "cake" fall on a plate
get another tablespoon of cocoa powder, add sweetener, add a little bit of water (to make a paste), scoop the mixture on top of the cake
80 calories, high in protein and antioxidants
(optional: place a chunk of chocolate in the middle before baking, add nuts, top with fresh fruit, etc.)

Fresh fruit salad and low fat vanilla yogurt?0

Thanks for all the ideas!0

UGH!! I hear you! Anytime I go into hardcore diet and fitness mode, I have such a sweet tooth. I make these molasses bran muffins from a recipe I found on Pinterest (http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/molasses-bran-muffins/Detail.aspx). Skinny Cow also has 150 calorie frozen cookie sandwiches that aren't half bad.0

one pink lady apple chopped into small pieces and mixed with 50g Fage 2% yoghurt - nice and sweet and less than 100 cals!0

3-2-1 cake
any flavor of cake mix ..... a box of angel food cake ......put the dry mixes in a ziplock baggy .....scoop out 3 tablespoons put in a bowl ...add 2 tablespoons of water mix and put in the microwave for 1 minutes ...instant personal cake .... add whip cream, fruit , chocolate chips or peanutbutter0 -
I don't think I've found a "healthy" dessert that I like BUT I have found ones with less calories that taste great! Skinny Cow Ice Cream is really good and so is Weight Watchers. I actually look forward to having them. Nothing will beat a hot fudge sundae but when you can't have one all the time this will do the trick! Also Jello Puddings, love the Boston Creme pie and the vanilla/choc swirl.0

bannana dipped in melted chocolate and then frozen.
or plain frozen banana thrown in blender to smush and then drizzle with chocolate syrup.
broiled or grilled nectarines. yum.
grilling/broiling on tree fruit works really well -- apricots, pears (yum w/drizzle of maple syrup), apples.0 -
Nicely played.0

I don't think ice cream is that bad a dessert. A scoop of vanilla hagen das with some raspberries is perfectly healthy if you don't go out for pizza afterwards and wake up in the morning and do it again for breakfast lol0

Heath bar Blizzard from DQ.
^^ This is good. I prefer the cookie dough though......Lots of calcium and some protein.0 -
It is sort of a fall recipe, but pears roasted and seared slightly, with a balsamic reduction and dried cranberries and walnuts. Healthy and super yummy (and it satisfies my need to cook)
Also, put it over some greens and add a little more balsamic and you have a great salad for a holiday. Add some grilled chicken and you have a killer meal.0 -
1 avocado
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
3 tablespoons honey
Peel and smash the avocado with a fork. I found that if I leave it out of the fridge a couple of hours before using it it'll be softer to smash.
Make sure the avocado is really well smashed, put the cocoa in and mix. Add the honey too and finixh mixing well, the honey helps mixing it just perfect.
It doesn't taste at all of avocado, which I don't like, it feels just like it has butter or cream in it.0 -

I make this for my kids. It's chocolate pudding in our house!!! Goes over really well.0
