I am an Eastern Orthodox Christian. My parents were both converts. I was baptised as an infant and I am still attending.

I was raised Roman Catholic (very traditional, my dad still doesn't like the changes from the Vatican II) but it never sat right with me. Am an atheist now, do not believe in the afterlife, fate nor anything of the sort.

I don't think this needs to turn into a fight as long as people share without trying to argue with each other :)

I am both Christian (Methodist) and Pipe Bearing (Lakota). I believe the creator speaks to all in a way they understand.

    Born and Raised Roman Catholic.

Now, I just try to love and accept everyone for what they are. I believe in God. I don't really agree with all the Church's teachings.
Ditto. I find this a lot with formerly Catholic people. Our cultural point of view no longer matches the Churches teaches and many people like myself leave. It's just too hypocritical.

    I was raised in a 'born-again, non-denominational, right-wing republican, homeschooling, foreign-children adopting, back-against-the-wall, shiite-esque' Christian household..

I am now an Atheist, but I respect anything that makes others happy, as long as they don't push it upon others..

"True Morality- Doing what is right without the threat of divine retribution nor the possibility of divine reward.'

    I am Whovian.

I would like to withdraw my earlier statement and second this. Praise him.
Does this mean I can be Sherlockian?

OH! Loving ALL of that... Is there a blending of the two...one which can also somehow include Terry Pratchett?

*eta* I worked it out. I'm a Doctor Sherlockian from Ankh Morpork.

I don't follow any organized religion.

I am thankful, to whomever or whatever created us, for my time on earth, and try and do my best with it, and be the best person I can be.

I do believe that there is an original "creator" or DNA "manipulator" out there some where that created our species though.

I find the Ancient Alien theory very interesting .....

Christian, but not in the traditional, personal-guilt-and-suffering / fire-and-brimstone-for-everyone-else kind of way.
My religious beliefs have very little impact on how I approach others, unless they make it an issue. :-) Of course that probably makes me a "bad Christian" since I also listen to a lot of Heavy Metal and LOVE horror movies.
