Bumpity Bump for inspiration needed at a later time!!
  • That is awesome!! Huge congrats hun. I have about 100 I would like to lose. I'm the same way - zero pills or surgery. I will do this he right way without jeopardizing my health any further than I have by gaining this weight.
  • Awesome job!!! I cannot imagine not logging into myfitnesspal either. I love their iPad app. It is so easy to scan the food. My husband and I both are on here now. I have about 100 pounds to lose still, but am looking forward to being the same weight I was before having 5 children. Did you have any problem with excess skin? That is my biggest worry.
  • I have lost 147 with 3 more to go. No surgery just lifting and cardio and proper nutrition. About 1 year and 9 months.

I lost 102 pounds from my highest weight in 2007 through logging, watching what I eat and exercise. I went from 232 pounds to 130 pounds. A size 18/20 to a size 2. I have maintained the weight loss since November 1, 2012.

I lost 260 lbs in about 26 months. I did it by eating less and exercising a whole lot more. Currently I hit the gym 5 days a week for a heavy lifting routine along with some cardio. I also run and bike several times a week. I've maintained the weight loss for over a year now.

I'm almost there. No surgery. Just changes in diet and exercise. I started working on this on memorial day 2011. I started out just going for walks and eating healthier. I kept adjusting my diet and exercise routine which has included intervals, weightlifting, cardio, etc. At the moment I don't have a gym membership so I've just been doing at least an hour of cardio every single night (elliptical and/or bike at home) and cutting sugar and carbs. Since December 2012, I've been losing 5.4 pounds per month on average so I'm hoping to hit the 100 pounds lost mark by the end of this month.

edit: I just saw that suzic73 posted above me and I wanted to add that she's awesome!
