I love this post! I am going to lose 100 pounds too. I started at 265 and I'm down 13 pounds so far. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed but seeing so many successful people reinforces my motivation. My mini goal is to have 50 pounds gone by my birthday on September 10. Congratulations to all who have accomplished so much! I can't wait to join y'all in success!

Ive done it. 100 lost. I fluctuate up and down by a few pounds now, since Ive taken up strength training and changed my diet.

I was on the Medifast diet for about 7 months. Did about 3 hours of uphill hiking every weekend. That was pretty much it.

Spent a month or two trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my diet after stopping medifast. I have since settled on low carb (100g) and high fat/protein and increased my calories to a bit under my maintenance calories. Ive switched from cardio (hiking) to strength training three times a week as well. So my weight has been going up as I gain back all that muscle I lost.

I'm definitely part of this club! Started in October 2011 and as of today have lost 129 pounds. I can never get pics to post on her correctly. But my profile pic was taken on Easter with my Dad. If you wanna see my starting pic, visit my account and in my pics you'll see that puffy faced me sitting on a bench out of breath right before I started mfp.

I would probably say 1/5 of the active member of this site have lost over 100lbs without surgery. Anyone can do it with enough perseverance.

You are so amazing all of you! Great tranformations! You worth it! Congrats!
  • Still chipping away at my 100! Slow but steady, I'll get there! Eating clean, running 3+ times a week, weight training and being wicked active with my wicked active toddler!
  • I started off at 310 (down to 275 prior to MFP) and down to 225 with MFP. Almost 100!
  • This is amazing. So happy for you. You look awesome... Great job:drinker:

I haven't hit the 100 lb mark yet, but soon. I've lost all of my weight through exercise and eating well. No surgery, pills, shakes, etc.

Here I am in July of 2011 (Big girl in pink shirt):

Hi! :) I don't have a before pic handy, I'm afraid. Not sure how much more weight I want to lose. I hit my initial number goal. The main point of all this is to feel comfortable in my body and be healthy and able to do physical things. I've reached that point, so we'll see how much longer I keep losing. Right now I'm just enjoying my lifestyle of getting healthier and trying to lose weight, so I'm sticking with it for now.
