Doesn't anyone want to hear the backstory? Was the OP forgiven for cheating or not? Did she have to go to the grocery store and replace the missing back of Cheetos?
Lol

That was bag, not "Back," of course ;-D0 -
Whenever i drink i'm pretty aware of my actions, maybe that's just me. Do you really think when people cheat while under the influence of alcohol they don't know what they are doing? is this something that should be forgiven? all opinions are welcomed.
They know, they just dont care. Thats what happens to me anyway. Then the next day its nothing but hangover and regret0 -
It's not cheating unless you end up on the show.
Damn that show was awesome.0 -
Cheating is cheating no matter what, even if you're completely out of your face drunk . If you really love the person you're with, you wouldn't cheat on them under any circumstances.
Or allow yourself to get that drunk with out being in a safe environment around people you trust. If you know you get crazy when you get drunk, and you know you do stupid things, than you wouldn't even allow yourself to get that drunk with out your significant other with you to make sure you are taken care of.0 -
I don't consider it a pass. I remember getting so drunk I thought I only ate a half of these cheese and beef wraps and when I asked if there were any more the next day, my friend was like, 'dude you ate them all!' bahahaha If you didn't want a cheat day you wouldn't have started drinking.0

Whether it be a possibility or not makes no difference. If this person knows they can't handle their liquor in a responsible way but still choose to partake then they are completely responsible for their actions and the events that take place as a result.0

Hahaa, I was thinking drunken cheating as it, eating bad food.
oh this made my day lol!0 -
Someone who claims he was drunk, didn't know what he was doing, and can't remember "all of it" is lying in my book because if he was that drunk he would not have been capable of cheating!! he'd be more likely to be passed out somewhere if that drunk!0

cheating is cheating, they're just sugar coating the story by blaming alcohol,0

I'm drunk now so I'm getting a kick out of these replies
Yes I cheat!
If you count using the teacher during a scrabble game then laying the ***** slap on the poor fool trying to play me.
Yes, that's right, PFUI is a word and I laid it on a triple word score combined with PYES. Mowowowhahahahahah0 -
My BIL likes to get on line after about 6 too many, then send out emails telling everybody off.
You wake up and see he sent something, "Oh, an email from Jim"
And then it's this blistering, ranting, hateful diatribe about stuff from 20 years ago and beyond on up until today.
And later he acts like it's nothing, "oh forget it; I must have been drunk".
After a few such emails, I totally cut that guy out of our lives.0 -
Cheating is cheating. Just had a conversation with someone about this, he said that it was "okay" for him to cheat on his girlfriend because he was drunk and it "doesn't count".
Doesn't help soften the blow that you were cheated on, either way. Cheating sucks.0 -
Being drunk lowers inhibitions, it doesn't change what you "would" and "would not" do. I also think that on another level, people can use it as an excuse, like they won't be held accountable for actions while drunk. A lot of people get drunk while in relationships, and, unlike hangovers, dancing on tables, or other commonly associated behaviors, a lot of them don't cheat.0
-
Nope...I know exactly what I'm doing when I'm drunk. That is not an excuse.0
-
I know millions of people who can keep their hands out of someone else's pants while sober or drunk.
millions... o rly?0 -
Cheating is cheating. Being drunk is just trying to excuse the inexcusable.
I hit you but.... I was drunk
I drove into another car but... I was drunk
I stuck my thingy in someone but... I was drunk
It all counts.0 -
I know this is an old post...by over a year, but I've been wanting to get this off my chest for so long! What happens when it's your highly intoxicated boyfriend and your highly intoxicated best friend who both insist they have no recollection of rubbing up on each other at the nightclub or "passing out" in her bed together and spooning/groping each other? To be fair though, a little background on my friend and my relationship. We always joked about being lesbian in college so we would always grab each other's *kitten*, etc., etc. so her statement of thinking it was me isn't so far fetched. But this night was different. I drove them home because I ended up as DD. She threw up, so my bf and I helped her back to her apartment to tuck her into bed. While in bed, my bf decided he wanted to get in with her and she wanted a human pillow so she rested her head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around her. I did attempt to separate the two but what's the point of arguing with two highly intoxicated people who are shooing you away and telling you to just lie down and sleep? Anyway, I got pretty pissed and I left, and during my short leave of absence for I did return in an attempt to fetch my bf, he tried to make out with her. I was so angry that night. And even more angry when my friend had another one of our friends tell me about about the attempted makeout session. I tried to break up with my boyfriend, but he refused, and the sad thing is, I love that *kitten* which is why it's difficult and so we're still together (doubt it'll last for long. I don't trust the guy. I probably just need more time to let that truly sink in), and I confronted my friend and tried to forgive her but we're just not friends anymore. A serious breach of trust occurred. So that's my story. I've forgiven both of them already. I'm not one to hold a grudge, BUT I can't forget no matter how hard I try and it always has this way of sneaking up on me. I know what I need to do, I just haven't gathered my wits to do what needs to be done (which is to break up with the boy. Don't want anyone to think I'm a psycho seeking revenge or anything.) I've tried not to bring more people into this mess since she and I have a lot of mutual friends, so I just need an outlet for my angst.0

They do know what they are doing but they lose the ability to make the wisest decisions and just go with what is fun at the time!0
