I think the movie that made me feel the worst was 'Requiem for a Dream.' I was not okay for weeks after that movie.

The Last House on the Left- I nearly walked out. I can't handle rape scenes too well especially in this one where the victim was only 17 years old.

The Hills Have Eyes (he rented the unrated version)
Event Horizon (mom said hey, wanna go see a sci-fi movie? damn you, woman!)
Nightmare on Elm Street or anything Freddy Krueger (I've seen it as an adult. Its corny. Still gives me nightmares.)

    Schindler's List

    Seven

    Natural Born Killers

Silence of the Lambs (the only move that has ever given me a nightmare)

    Last House on the Left
    Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Both had viciously-accurate rape scenes. I had to shut my eyes or fast forward through those parts. I've never been assaulted before, but those scenes just seemed so realistic.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo... American or Swedish version?

The American version with Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara.

I haven't seen that one yet. I saw the Swedish version before the American version came out. I heard the American version was graphic, but the Swedish version was pretty bad. I think I have been reluctant because in my mind Noomi Rapace will always be Lizbeth.

Noomi Rapace is a much better Lizbeth. I do like Daniel Craig as Mikael though.

My Sister's Keeper. That was so emotionally and psychologically draining. I feel like it killed my soul a little.

Mine is the same as yours! This movie is truly awful! Scarred for life. I just sat staring at the screen and crying for like an hour when it was over.

I was recently told to watch this.

It was a good movie just sad. I would recommend watching it at least once.

    -For Colored Girls
    -The Color Purple
-The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
-The Help (at least the ending was not completely sad)
    -Passion of the Christ

I agree with many listed here but would like to add "Crank" with Jason Stratham. That messed me up for days.

I almost added that one on my list, pretty much any good holocaust movie just guts me, and that was a really good one.

Twilight. I never made it all the way through because it was so awful that I felt dirty just for watching as much as I did. I had to boil my brain in bleach to make myself clean again.

I cried for hours and was seriously depressed. I also stopped eating for a few hours.

    Didn't read through the replies, but these have been probably been said;

    World's Greatest Dad
    Marley and Me

And any movie about actual world issues, Blood Diamond, The Kingdom, Sharkwater, etc. Documentary or not, those never sit well with me.

I know I'll sit down and watch it one day, but I'm scared to watch Earthlings. Any movie like that make me cry for hours.

G.I Joe. Made me feel awful for the fact that I sat through until the end of it.
  • Definitely The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas-I knew the basic plot but I was not expecting it to end the way that it did! It's been several months since I have seen it and I still can't watch it! And also Dogville-It just shows how ugly humans can be, especially when all of those men were taking their turns with Nicole Kidman's character.
