L1D3 done! I thought I wasn't gonna be able to make it but in reality it does seem to be getting a little easier, it's just the pains the next day which seem to be getting more intense! :explode: Will do L1D4 first thing tomorrow morning0

Incidentally I started the shred on the 14th without knowing about this thread. So I’m actually in line with everyone here, actually last night my husband joined me.
I’m actually using 1pound weights, my upper body is really week whereas my lower body is very strong. That was why I wanted to add this video to my workouts, in hopes of working on my upper body too.
Hope to see everyone still here at the end of the 30 days!0 -
So I did L1D3 yesterday morning before work, went and picked up mom from the airport... tha was 3.5 hours of traffic! UGH
Hopefully I will get a chance to do day 4 this evening, mom wants to check it out, so i should be able to!0 -
L1D5 DONE!! Think I'm gona do L2 tomorrow. This morning was tough though. I finally got in bed ad 12 and my 18mth old woke up at 3 ready to play I did my workout but not as well as most days I was having to dodge the weights she was throwing at me :ohwell: Better in the morning!0

I know i should weigh myself less. I weigh in every 3-4 days. I'm going to try to wait 1 week to do it again.

I do not know what shred is either, can someone tell us what this is or where we can find out?0

wooo L1D4 done! while i haven't really been sore at all since after day 1, it hasn't gotten a WHOLE lot easier. i'm finally doing better with the shoulder raises in the first circuit (shoulders have always been one of my weakest spots. minimal reps with 3 lb weights and i'm dying lol). and the front shoulder raises in the third circuit are also a little better. but after tomorrow i'll be 1/6 of the way done! slightly encouraging :]
weighed in this morning hoping to see awesome numbers, but i'm only down one pound this week, but hey i'll take it! but i think i may be holding some water weight right now for a few reasons, so i think i'm going to weigh in again on tuesday.
hope everyone else is keeping up and doing well! :]0 -
Day 4 complete. I'm so glad to see all the post of the people that are staying so committed keep it up. We can do this0

Hey everyone level 1 day 3 completed. Omg I ache all over, but I'm going to keep going, I'm determined to get to day 30. Keep it up everyone!! Roll on day 40

Level 1 Day 4 Done.. WoW - I definetely felt it today... past three days I was very energized and ready to go but I think its cause I was outside working all day that the sun drained me. But I managed to complete it!!! My arms are so very weak...boy do they kill on all of the arm exercises0

A big WAY TO GO to everyone who is sticking with it. I did L1/D4 today. I weighed this morning and was down 2.5 lbs. I'm sooooo excited! It's been a long time since I have actually stuck with a workout routine, but I am very adament this time that I am going to lose this weight.
I am sore, but it seems like the first 3 days were the worst. It is getting a little easier as I go. I will just take it one day at a time and decide when to move on to the next level.
As for the weigh in, I will do it weekly. I just did it this morning out of curiousity.0 -
L1D4 done!! I hate doing these exercises when my family's awake, so I unfortunately had to wait until 1am to do my workout tonight :noway: oh well, at least I did it
Good luck with Day 5, everyone!0 -
I late but I want to start. What do I need to do0

L1D5 today! halfway through level one! this is the longest i've ever stayed on board with this challenge. definitely motivated to keep on going! weighed in again today and was pleased with the numbers i saw compared to yesterday's. knew i was going to be super bloated and holding a lot of water yesterday so i didn't think much of it! but i'm officially down 2 pounds from the beginning of the week! definitely hopeful that i can keep this up :]0

Well done, sotonguetied! My first official weigh-in after starting the 30-day-shred will be on Thursday~ and I can't wait to see if there's been a change in my weight or not : D I've never before actually dieted AND exercised at the same time, so I'm betting it'll be a good number.0 -
Ok, I just bought the 30 day shred DVD yesterday. I did levels 1 & 2 today... Am I suppose to do 1 level at a time? And for how long?0
-
level 1 day five complete. I am so glad to have this message board because it holds me more accountable. Because not only will I know if I fail but everyone of you all will too. So when I try to talk myself into skipping I do it anyways. Thanks everyone for your support0

BUT... I didnt stop because I missed one day - I forced myself to get right back to it today. I'm sure it was good for my body to have a day break. I did play baseball yesterday. I also played baseball today and a soccer game along with the Shred.

I fell off this weekend, but I'm back on track starting today! My mom is here visiting, her and my friend threw me a surpise birthday party on Saturday!

Wohooooo Level 1 day 6 done :) For once, I can actually feel it getting easier. I still struggle with 30 seconds of push ups (maybe something to do with my breathing while doing them).
I'm kinda nervous for Level 2 lol0
