Being noticed (attractiveness)

Have you always or often been noticed? Sometimes? Rarely? Do people sometimes look at you after knowing you awhile and suddenly find you very attractive? What has been your particular experience with being seen and noticed?
I sometimes see people that I find very attractive that seem to slip under most people's radar, and also the opposite, where people who don't seem that physically attractive still get a lot of attention. I find it curious.

No, I don't think I am noticed. My husband tries to tell me that some of the men at the gym look at me, but if they have, I've never noticed it.
I think those that you see that aren't all that attractive but still get a lot of attention are people who have a lot of confidence in themselves. People are drawn to people who are confident.0 -
Most people tell me I'm oblivious, but I've hardly ever noticed anyone noticing me.0

If they are noticing me, then I must be pretty oblivious because I haven't noticed
Of course, I've been told that I seem to be naive to men hitting on me.0 -
I have perfect situational awareness and am attractive and personable. So yes, people notice me and I can read through coy behavior.0

All about the confidence!!
I tend to do pretty well even though I'm not in great shape anymore.0 -

Me, too, Cat. And you are gorgeous so that can't be true.
Sometimes I notice people looking, but usually it's because I'm doing something stupid like falling down or something is in my teeth.0 -
I was never really "noticed" when I was younger but then my sister is a dress model and was always the stunning one. She's wearing the navy t-shirt in my ticker.
Because she is 18 months younger than me it made it hard growing up and being noticed for the right reasons.
I can't deny that some people must have noticed me as I would have or have had bfs but I've never felt confident and maybe that is what gets you noticed.0 -
Ever since i was a little girl i've been noticed. it sounds bad but looks helped me in life more than i would like to admit.0

One of my guy friends insists that girls notice me. I've never caught anyone looking though.0

I always assume someone is watching, because I am a people watcher. I notice (the universal) you, but it has nothing to do with your attractiveness, just like to watch humans be humans.0

Matt Damon?!0 -
People only look at me when I already walked passed them according to my husband its the booty...0

For some reason, little boys always gawk at me, and teenage boys are always checking me out. Of course, no one looked my way when *I* was a teenager.
Men my age don't seem to find me attractive.0 -
no, i dont see myself as attractive, but i dont see myself as the opposite either... its wierd, i almost see myself as invisable, because im a wife and mom to 5... kinda like that put me happily off radar! lol0

I wouldn't have a clue if anyone noticed me. I don't get hit on or anything, though people sometimes comment on my height. That's about it.0

I really identify with this one. My younger sister (22 months younger than I) has been perfectly skinny without trying and a knock out blonde. Really did damage on my self - esteem.0 -
I never have been one to get noticed. But last couple of times I went out, I got hit on. Kind of a trip, honestly. I guess getting in shape has it's advantages.0

i hope you noticed lol0 -
I don't think i'm noticed, at least I've never noticed it0

^^ took the words right out of my mouth. I have been told by friends that i am in complete oblivion, and that i am always 'noticed'.
although maybe i am okay with that. Men cause me grief anyway!0 -
I rarely notice anyone checking me out. Years ago, my brother told me that men check women out when they aren't looking, which is why I never notice it. I suppose he could be right.... how would I know if I can't see them, right?
I'll admit it is nice when I do realize I'm being checked out, though.0 -
No one notices me but my fiance. As far as others' attractiveness, even if at first I don't find someone immediately attractive, the more I get to know them personally, the more beautiful they become in my eyes. Likewise, if you're a flaming *****, I probably will find you terribly ugly, even if by societal standards you are pretty or handsome.0

My boyfriend tells me has to give other guys the "Grrrr" face to let them know to back off. I never notice it.0

I am-- I have an awesome rack. Always have.0

I've suddenly had a lot more interest than normal, usually I get catcalled 2-4 times per months, but this week has been particularly forward. It's a bit awkward at times, especially when the guy is walking straight towards me. I feel a bit uncomfortable with it. I don't mind complements, but I get a bit squicked out when a guy is walking towards me and does the eyes up and down without looking at my eyes. *shivers*0

I get noticed but rarely get hit on. And a lot of the guys that I find attractive definitely don't show up on other people's radar. When I go out with my brother-in-law and sister and I point someone out, my BIL always says, "what? Really? You're way out of his league."0

Fat or thinner, my "never noticed" status remains the same! I am pretty invisible I think.0

On a run-of-the-mill day. . . no. No one overtly "notices" me. When I'm all dolled up for date night, I will occassionally get a glance. But nothing to write home about. I do see men & women notice me when I'm out for a run. Sometimes the glances are reasonably positive. . .like "way to go". . .sometimes they're nasty. . . I figure the ladies don't think I should be wearing running tights ???.. . and a few times the looks have been uber creepy. But all in all, I just am not someone who has a dynamic appearance. And I'm quite alright with that. My hubby thinks I'm hot and that's all that matters!0

All about the confidence!!
I agree! Only in the past couple of years did I learn to exude an air of confidence. I noticed that, after I began to apply this trait, I get noticed everywhere... It is eerie because that really is the only thing that has changed, but guys now are always staring at me, even when I'm just minding my own business with my boyfriend. My boyfriend has a theory that men are just naturally drawn to that aura because he will notice them staring at me, and they will look away flustered when their eyes finally fall on him. Its as if they couldn't help or did not notice them looking over at me.0
