    Well, well. It's been awhile since I posted, but I figure I should update.
    First, I will mention that I TOTALLY screwed up on my starting weight this month. I said 150.... I meant 185.0, lol. If only I was 150!! :blushing:

    Sadly (and for the first time ever), my sudden big drop did not stick. I gained it back (slowly). I'm trying to get back down, but for now I'll change my little thingy down there to reflect the new weight. 185-183.4= 1.6 down. Quite depressing for halfway through the month. *sigh* I'm going to have to get over it.

    Hi everyone-

    I have gotten so many messages i'm going to do one mass message response lol-I promise I have not quit...been in and out of the hospital last few weeks due to a darn MS attack but feeling much better and thank god I have only gained 1 pound back! I will be logging and working out again as soon as docts give me the ok-which I'm told should be in the next few days fingers crossed....Thanks for keeping me in check lol brought a smile to my day lol! .....Hope everyone is doing well I miss the boards soooo much!

    I'm pretty upset because I didnt loose anything this week just gone. I thought it might of been because of my period, but now thats over i'm still stuck on the same. So i've still got five pound to lose by the end of the month... :(

    well done to all those that have lost so far, and with only 2 more weeks left of July everybody seems to be doing really well.

    Darling-Jay do not get down over no loss this week, it happens to us all. I havent lost anything since i recorded on 5 july, but i am not letting it worry me.

    my weigh in is tomorrow, and if i lose that will be great, if not - what the heck!!! i go away at the weekend for 2 weeks so wont be able to see it through to the end of july.

    But theres always next month - one step at a time is how i'm tackling it

    Alright guys confession time I didn't track my food the last 5 days and it has reared it's ugly face in my weight gain so no surprise there but the other thing is I never change my ticker when I gain so I wont feel bad but today I am going to change it because why not be honest with myself and look like I am doing good and I am not no more pity party for me I am giving tough love and looking for it in return!!!

    Darling-Jay it does take a few days sometime for the water weight to fall off.

    sigh... I feel your pain with the *zero* weight loss. I burned 865 calories yesterday between training and ball hockey and still NOTHING. ah well... we will just keep at it, right? :wink:

    ok i did pretty bad this weekend .... i didnt workout sat or sun .... sat we cut yards and clean my mothers rental home up to put on the market, so we didnt get home till that night and i was soooo tired i just took at bath and went to bed because me and my husband were going to the beach the next day; i did ok and thats a big OK eating sat!!!! Then sun we went to the beach and had dinner at margaritaville and then had ice cream!!! So needless to say i didnt do so well sunday on the eating .... i feel bad but i got up this morning and went for a run/walk and im about to do pilates and tonight is p90x stretch!!! So maybe i didnt do to much damage.... i weighed myself this morning and i had only gained half a pound so i guess that isnt that bad, but i want to lose that and another pound this week so i will be pushing myself hard the rest of the week!!!

    Hey everyone.
    Gigi, it doesn't sound like you did "bad" at all. It's really about making the best choices in each situation andbeing able to enjoy your life. I usually don't get a chance to do an official workout on the weekends either but logging cleaning, Costco shopping, and yard work really adds up. Walking the beach and cleaning your mom's place sounds like a workout to me. Nothing to feel bad about. :flowerforyou:
    cnbethea, what is really going on friend? Not to get deep or anything but is it something emotional that is keeping you from logging and posting your gains? You are so kind and motivational to me and others. Remember that this is a lifestyle change and not a diet. Get back into what works for you. We've got our eye on you!
    ifychudy, mfpfriend, & tiarapants, great job on the loss! You're doing something right!
    roadchic, I'm so glad you got a solution and that you're feeling better.
    mamahutson, glad to see you back on here. Sorry you haven't been well. I hope you get back on your feet soon. A 1 lb gain is nothing in that situation.
    darling jay & ridelikeaggirl, maintaining happens and it's all good!

    Well, I think I did good over the weekend. I weighed myself to judge it and I was the same as Thursday which is great! I was worried because I didn't do an official workout. I cleaned the house in 90 degree weather, entertained my in-laws, and went window shopping for an elliptical machine (of course I had to hop on and try them for about 10 min :blushing: ). I guess all that counts as exercise. Maybe next weekend we'll go swimming.

    ridelikeagirl816- Have you re-evaluated everything your diet calorie intake and sodium levels just asking because you kick butt on your workout and I wouldn't want to see your hard work not paying off.

    ifychudy- Glad your foot is doing better and your workout on the treadmill is about to take off again:bigsmile: As far as weighing I say whatever is going to keep you focused and positive through your bout with Chalene then go for it that will still keep you accountable for the group if that's your concern. I know all to well about the self sabotaging so no need to do that to yourself!!!

    Gigi- Since when is cleaning not exercise and getting a house ready for sell I say that's cleaning to the seond power because your going that extra step to make it look good for everyone!! Oh yeah and not to mention the yard work...I know you missed your normal routine workout and I am not trying to over look your thoughts on it I was just saying give yourself some credit you did something in it's place now if you just layed around all day that would be different.

    Ebonia great job over the weekend especially having the in-laws over and I would say that testing out the ellipticals was a workout:bigsmile: Keep up the great work and way to have your weightloss stick!!!

    As for me Ebonia your so right I had been dealing with something outside of diet and exercise for the last 3mnths and so fluctuating and sticking around the 160's is great in those regards but now I am over and out that stressful situation for the most part so it's back to business as usual and I am not doing what needs to be done is my issue it's totally not my activity at all what I say I do in activity I totally do no question about it it's my eating hands down and so I just need to give myself a swift kick in the butt and stop playing around I know I can do it and I have before I just got to get back in the groove.................Thanks for checking me!!

    Thanks EboniA & cnbethea:flowerforyou: !!! I know i burned some calories, im just doing p90x and you are suppose to workout everyday, even your rest day you have a stretch workout to do!!!! So when i miss 2 days im getting away from p90x and its getting closer to p120x LOL:laugh: !!! It is almost impossible for me not to miss a day once a week, but im back on track this week and feeling good again:bigsmile: !!! I know its ok to slip up here and there and i know i was still burning calories, i just miss my workouts when i dont get them in!!!

    cnbethea i dont know whats going on but i hope everything is ok with and i will say a little prayer for you!!! Hope everyone has a great tuesday!!! :wink:

    yesterday was my weigh in day and again another week goes by and havent lost anything. i will weigh myself again towards the end of the week to see if any change there.

    I have been working real hard the last 3 days, burning over 1,000 cals per day, but i will just wait and see if it has any kind of effect.

    keep doing good everybody, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for all of us!!

    Hi fellow groupies!

    Sorry for my absence for the last week. We were away at the beach for a family vacay. I didn't have internet access, but my ipod would randomly get signal each morning for a few minutes so I was still able to log all of my food and not lose my logging in record! I am very happy about that! Anyway, needless to say, I was not able to post or read while I was gone, but have read up on the thread. Everyone is doing so well, I am proud of each and every one of you guys! Even though the scale may not reflect our hard work, that hard work is a trophy in and of itself!

    I managed to stay under my maint cals all days but one, and many of the days I actually stayed within my daily goal! Only thing is, the day I went over, I went WAAAY over. Like...all you can eat buffet kind of over. Crab legs dipped in butter, prime rib, clams casino, cheese sticks, onion rings, 10 kinds of desserts.... There was no sense in trying to log it. I'd be willing to bet I ate 5000 calories at that meal without batting an eyelash. SO, the rest of the week was damage control. I'm still ok with whatever happens on the scale this week. It was one bad day, and the rest of the days I was so proud of myself for doing so well. I passed on all of the boardwalk treats that I so love. Thrasher's fries covered in vinegar and salt, Bull on the beach open pit beef sammies, ice cream, funnel cakes, cannoli, caramel corn with candied peanuts...these are all staples for me on my annual vacation, and part of the highlights. But I held my head high passing them up. And most days I walked the dog and played on the beach and swam.

    I will have to check the posts but I think it looks like we are pretty well updated.

    Jojo, I do not mind finishing out the month. It really has been a group effort anyway! Welcome back! :)
