I'm still new at this but I find for me it is easier to cut out certain junk foods completely, otherwise I find myself craving them more and more :/ I will try and cut out the following (which I think contribute greatly to my weight problem).

Regular soda (and limiting diet to one a day)
    fast food
not a food, but eating snacks late at night just because I'm bored

I can't really say that I've totally cut anything, but I will say there are several things that I feel like I am free from their demonic grip!

    1. Diet soda
    2. Sweet treats
    3. Endless amounts of bread
    4. Loading my veggies up with butter
    5. Handfuls of animal crackers on the go

Now I can have 1 of something and be happy. Best. Feeling. Ever.

    1. Processed Foods (for the most part)
    2. Pasta
    3. Most Breads
    4. Artifical Sweetener (just eat the real stuff people)
    5. ANYTHING in excess!!

Moderation is key....everything in moderation. i just try and eat clean, whole, all natural foods. I like to be able to prounounce all the ingredients that are in my foods.

    I have cut out

    1. Moaning about there being nothing on tv. I limit it now so I am up doing other stuff
    2. Being ok with not making the most of my appearance because I am overweight. I try to at least moisturise everyday
    3. Whining about my weight while eating any number of junk foods
    4. Thinking I will start my diet on Monday
    5. Dieting. Screw diets, I am eating what I want but also leaving what I don't - no longer feeling obligated to eat

I agree with many here. While I am staying away from some things except for a rare occasion, I don't consider myself to have cut out anything.

Rather, I view it as all about choices. Everything is a decision. It is a matter of budgeting calories as you would a checkbook.

Is that food worth splurging on? Can you afford it today or this week? Choose your moments and your indulgences.

And, yes, control the portion even when you choose to indulge.

The cool part about this is that, when you DO indulge, you enjoy and appreciate it A LOT more! I had a Sam's Club cinnamon pretzel a couple days ago. I had not had one in over two months, and I was missing them. OMG, it was amazing! But, when I had them often, I never enjoyed them the way I did two days ago. Now, I can avoid it for a good while again.

Now, we rarely eat out, except maybe Subway. However, when there is a birthday, anniversary, etc and we plan to eat out, we PLAN for it. We budget those calories. We eat lighter the rest of the day/week to accommodate that meal out so we don't blow it all completely.

Nothing really.....I just don't drink my calories. Cut soda (reg. and diet). Will never go back! I hate being addicted to caffeine!

So far, just sodas. Even diet sodas. Trying to drink more water.

I'm one of the cut-out-nothing crew. Moderation, calorie deficit, but nothing cut out. I'd never keep it up :p

I stopped drinking soda about a year ago, before I began with MFP, so I don't know if that counts. Otherwise, I just limit myself to my daily calories, and eat smaller portions. I've added drinking 6-8 cups of water each day.

    1. White potatoes, white bread, white rice & pasta.
    2. Fast food (although I have failed with this a few times).
    3. Fizzy sugary drinks & juice. (I only drink water now and the rare diet coke).
    4. Butter & margarine.
    5. Full-fat cow's milk. (I drink skimmed milk now).

Oh and I know this is an extra one but I no longer eat cheese.

I have cut out nothing. Well, just eating too much, being lazy and self-loathing.
