Tonight's meal is a salad in a jar (romaine, cheddar, chicken, chickpeas, corn, boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, carrots and pickles with Newman's Own Vinaigrette)

Dinner tonight, lean beef burgers with turkey bacon and homemade fries :) So good and only 600 cals (could be less with modifications)

Dinner tonight was mad good and thrown together in 10 minutes. Steak strips, murshrooms, broccoli, tomatoes and kale with a ranchero sauce. Served with a protein pita and sriracha.

Chocolate and coffee protein bars. I need to learn not to fuss with the chocolate once they are dipped!

Protein rice crispy treats. Not a fail, but could be improved.

Would like to have the recipe to the protein crispy treats and the coffee protein bars.

The base recipe for the protein bars is here:

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/979940-low-carb-chocolate-chocolate-protein-bars?page=1#posts-14977613

For a coffee flavoured version, leave out the chocolate chips and replace with with 20gms of coffee grinds.

The crispy treats weren't great, I'll refine the recipe and post it when it's better.

(And please don't quote pictures in this thread).

Meag: you are the queen of throw together dinners! And the honeycomb was off the chain! Fancy schmancy resort restaurant. They had a pancake machine where you just press a button and a pancake comes out. Magic!

    beanymac22: that looks especially awesome.

SpikesSerenity: I thought your triscuits were pop tarts. I must be hungry.

Sure thing. I used this recipe: http://www.mslimalicious.com/2013/02/paleo-spiced-banana-bread-with-almond.html

I used butter instead of coconut oil (I was out), agave instead of honey (I was out of that too), and didn't put in any of the rum or nuts.
It doesn't rise at all, so keep that in mind when you choose a pan. Mine came out wide and SQUAT :P

Awww :blushing: Thanks CD! I sure am short on time, so it works lol They are almost always just a variation on the same theme but damn they turn out good. And I need to remind myself how delicious steak is! Soooo good.

Those breakfast wraps definitely look like money, btw.
