Just so no one's surprised when they try to friend me, I have following requirements:

    1) Five pieces of valid government-issued ID.
    2) Three major credit cards.
    3) A Safeway, QFC, and Albertson's grocery club card.
    4) Pass either a drug test or a breathalizer test, but not both.
    5) English must be both their first and fourth language.
    6) Both legs must be of equal length.

Potential friends that do not meet all of the requirements may appeal a denial, which goes to my a board of inquiry. Decisions from the board are made within 17 to 23 years. All correspondence must be sent via both certified mail and Fed Ex.

Just comment or say something once in a while. I request a message with an FR and sometimes still don't get one. Also, too many people trying to fall in love here and/or just starving for attention and looking to get their ego inflated like theyre still in high scbool. Pathetic...grow up already or go somewhere else.

Just don't send me a message saying you want to add me because you think I'm pretty or that you thought my comment was funny and you're good.

Why concern yourself over such menial things? I am just glad I am able to inspire others and be inspired, I don't need a message or a justification for a friendship.

    Well said...I feel the same

A note is always appreciated. I especially love insanely random non-sense notes.

Totally agree. Please give me something... if you don't and you aren't friends with any of my friends, you're probably not going to be accepted. I've accepted a few without messages that have been ok, others not so much.

The last time I was on MFP I would accept just about everyone and then regret having some people on my FL cause they would gross me out or just freak me out. This time I will be more cautious and accept from people who have a reason to add me. Actually if you are a great supporter and would like good support from me, hit me up!

Meh.. I don't get a lot of FR, so I just accept what comes along. Though I do delete people if they haven't logged on in a while, or if they start getting whinny or rude.

extra points though if you write a really entertaining FR.

I prefer SOME form of communication with a FR . But, it's not a requirement.

I have no requirements. A message is lovely and makes me smile, but it's not an obligation. I'll delete you if you're an *kitten*, other than that, I'm not fussy.

    Precisely this!

I usually accept most people, but if you look creepy a'f or if I'm feeling mean I won't accept.

Wouldn't matter to me either way.
Either they fit or they don't.

I like to see a message, particularly if I haven't been interacting with the person in the forums at the time of request. If we're having some back and forth there -- a blank one doesn't bug me. I usually accept any request but will but quickly delete if they don't interact or act like a fool.

I will pretty much accept any request but a not is always nice. I am very interactive and supportive and I expect my friends to be the same. So you just clean out the ones that are not a good fit or are on for other reasons. It's not that hard and I don't need rules to manage it. For the most part almost all have been wonderful friends so I enjoy my MFP adds!

This is me..will usually accept any request and feel them out or see how it goes. If it's not working I clean out the list. :)

    Needs a message.

Why the hell do 48 year old men from overseas think that I'm just going to accept a random, unwarranted friend request?

Especially when their entire FL consists of young girls -.-

I accept most requests, but I can be a little discerning too. I've had a couple of chucklehead messages from men that resulted in me declining to add them. I definitely appreciate a little note to go with a request, but I don't toss out all requests without one. I check the person out (in so far as I can) and see if they seem to be here legitimately for health and motivation's sake.
