My day 6 - 55 squats done!0

55 done here, too! 20---25---10.............by the time I got to the last 10, I was hearing the music from "Rocky" in my head; never did squats before. My DH has me doing what he calls "prisoner" squats---elbows up and hands locked behind head........is this right??? Seems harder than it would/should be with arms down??????0

Did my 60! I did 3 sets of 20 with the last one holding my hands behind my head as yanniejannie explained in an earlier post. Those are much harder! LOL :laugh:0

Thanks for the challenge! Joined today - 30 squats done
P.S. Proper squat form is important, my friends! Keep your knees above your toes (and not leading), your back should be in a straight, continual line, sit back on your hips and keep looking forward. If you have knee pain, try squatting with your heels slightly elevated (like on your folded yoga mat, while the rest of your foot is on the bare floor)
P.P.S. I like the idea of adding push-ups or maybe plank-holds? Will try one or both after lunch and see how it goes over the next few days!0 -
