How To Lose Weight Without Dieting (-112 pounds) tips

Holy crap girl, you are FIIIINE looking. AWESOME JOB! \o/
I enjoy fruits and veggies, so I am a little luckier, but seriously, great job since you don't eat the them!!!!
Great tips, pretty much all I try to suggest to new "dieters". I would only suggest weight lifting early on for those who wish to "change their life". It will make you stronger early on, and by the time you lose all the weight you want, you will have some toning to your body.0 -

losing it is the easy part. Keeping it off is the hard part.
Just trying to keep it real.
And congratulations!! I don't think it has anything to do with calories but that's just my opinion. Remember - maintenance is for life. (You don't go on a diet, you change your diet).
Just wanted to thank you for the links. I've only made it through the first three so far, but interesting reading.0 -
I could've written this myself. It's TOTALLY my story! Except for the running part
Congrats on everything you've done! You look amazing!0 -

A little late to the game here, but wow, your story is spot on in the terms of that is how I am looking at my life. I have 150lbs total to lose and possibly more, we'll see when I get there. I feel the same way on so many levels, from the eating the stuff I want, as long as I log it and in moderation. I love sweets, chocolate, etc but now I eat 1 rather than 5 or 6 etc. That has helped me so much being able to have it and not deprive myself. That is one of the big things I took from doing WW is don't deprive yourself of something but count it and keep it in moderation. I know if I didn't have any type of sweet the last 6 weeks, I would have binged when I finally did.
Thank you for sharing your story! I hope to have the same success and you look amazing!!0 -

Great post! Thanks for sharing. I really like the part about not denying your self, its the people that restrict themselves too much that end up failing and giving up.0

I do almost exactly what you have been doing! I looked at your list and do everything on you list except for the cheat meal. Instead of a "cheat meal", I plan ahead and then do enough exercise to cover the calories that I am going to consume. For example - last week was my daughter's college graduation, and I knew we were going out. I knew where we were going, so I looked at the menu online, and planned ahead what I was going to eat. It was over 1000 calories, so I scaled back my breakfast and lunch, cut the grass in the morning for an extra 600 calories. I still ended up the day 500 calories over, but worked out enough over the next 6 days to make up for it. So far, I have lost 44 pounds in the last 9 months, an average of almost 5 pounds per month.0

Congratulations and thanks for posting! A lot of the tips you mentioned really hit home for me and I want to try to lose these 30-40 lbs that have been following me for years. I might order a HRM & give it a go!0

Wow, you look great. I'm just starting the whole moderation thing now, so this is really motivating to me, as I don't like too many fruits or vegetables either.0
-
Sounds like me except I still have a long way to go before I get to goal. You just showed me I can do it. Thank you!!0

Thank you for sharing I was feeing overwhelmed today!! :flowerforyou:0

Let me say this, more than once: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your post. I LOVE how you don't deprive yourself, I LOVE how you're honest, I LOVE your motivation and willingness to get things done! You're awesome, hands down, the best! I hear a lot of people saying (and no, I'm not against it by any means, but it's just not me), "Cheat meals are ridiculous, why have 'cheat days' and blow all of what you've been working towards". I don't agree. I'm like you - why not? Go and have it! I'm going to send you a request, I hope you accept0
