Just for fun: What is your favorite 'cleansing' breakfast, drink or snack? Help! I don't even know any "cleansing" breakfast, drink or snacks" would be.0 -
Support for the person above me: try adding some fruit or veggies to breakfast. My personal favourite breakfast right now is:
-1 cup unsweetened almond milk (for the EFA's, and not as inflammatory as dairy can be, but dairy milk will work nicely too)
-1 scoop protein powder - vanilla works best as it complements the fruit better
-1 cup frozen berries
-1 cup frozen or fresh kale/spinach/chard (optional, and I built up to this little by little, as it seemed unnatural to my tastebuds!)
-1 tbsp. chia seeds
-1/2 cup coconut water/more almond milk/water
and smoosh it all in a nutribullet blender.

Or overnight no-cook oats...
In a sealable container, place the following, then give a shake to mix:
1 cup (gf for me, regular for you non celiac peeps) oatmeal
1 scoop protein powder
1 cup vanilla almond milk (or any other dairy or plant milk of choice)
1 tbsp. chia seeds
Place in fridge overnight. In the morning you can eat cold or heat in the microwave (faster and doesn't bubble over like when you microwave oatmeal that hasn't been soaked).
Prior to eating, feel free to add:
dried fruit or nuts or some granola (check for teh ebbil glutenz if needbe) or some honey/brown sugar/agave/maple syrup0 -

Hey I'm new to the group but trying to stay more accountable!
SW: Way back when I started I was 177

I don't have any fancy cleanses but I tend to drink a 16 oz coffee with 2 packs of splenda and 2 creamers and half a bagel. Sometimes with Turkey bacon too for extra protein. The coffee keeps me full until around lunch time and I'm sure to chug water in between.0 -
