Day One---150 squats--40 with hand weights---10 while brushing teeth----100 while walking dogs

I may take a rest day from squats but I walk my dogs for about three hours a day, go to line dance classes four times a week, and always log 18,000 steps or more (34,000 yesterday)

Day 1 - 30 done - Bad day today. I had to put my 8 year old Rat Terrier down. Her kidneys quit working. Sad stressful day for me.

Finished my 35 squats with weights today. Still quite depressed so didn't do much today. Did some clean up by throwing stuff out that I don't want to move and posted some stuff on Craigs list to sell. This thread has a bunch of great ladies! Stick together girls!!0

35 squats done earlier.............my dh is putting up a shed and I was helping; the triangle peice above the front doors slipped, fell and the edge hit me right across the forehead and knocked me down; then the 2 doors fell on top of me with him trying to get out to me.......not doing any more exercises today; maybe not tomorrow either...............knee is banged up, sore, scraped......forehead bumpy and bad headache.............BUT.........hips are intact!!!!0

Sorry ladies, I saw my dr. this am when I still had the h/a: "contusions to forehead; slight concussion"...........ice pack and rest, no exercise of any kind ( I asked, not even tm) until h/a is gone w/o using any meds.
So, I'll be cheering you all from the sidelines for a few days........j.0 -

We are visiting our son at the U of Minn in Minneapolis. After walking around campus I remembered I needed to do my squats. Just did them in the hotel room. They have a fitness center so I'll do tomorrow's down there. Doing 170 all in a row was tough!!!

Well heading back home first thing in the morning. We had such a good visit with our DS and his GF. They are going to come visit in August before the fall semester starts back up. We ate out a lot but walked a lot as well. Squeezed into the tiny fitness center here and did morning work outs so hopefully the scale will be kind next time I weigh in. Tomorrow we are going to go a long bike ride when we get back (and of course my 170 squats)...we'll need it after the 6-7 hour car ride.

Everyone and all are welcome! The more the merrier, the more fun we can have together. I did my squats yesterday and today is day 5 - a rest day for me. I've been under a great deal of stress lately and almost quit this, but decided it was better for me to keep going as exercise helps my mood and reduces stress. I'm not gone just a little overwhelmed right now. Glad to see so many people joining this challenge! :happy:0
