150 has always been my "comfort weight" and is just inside healthy BMI -- Once I get there, I want to maintain that for a while to see if I want to lose anything more. My main focus is on sustainability.
Current body fat (via Accu-Measure calipers) = 29.2%, which places me at the upper end of "ideal" for a woman my age.0 -

Net daily goal = 1480 C to theoretically lose 2lbs a week (980C deficit per day)
I workout between 6 and 7 days a week, burning on average 1500+ calories from exercise (distance runner)

I try to eat about 1400 calories per day. But I usually eat anywhere from 1,000 calories through 1,800 calories. It depends on the day and how hungry I am.0 -
1800-2100 kcals a day. Some of you people need to eat more. You should only cut 15-20% of your TDEE.

I've been eating about 1200 total(Not net).. I normally exercise 1 & 1/2hrs to 3 & 1/2hrs daily so I'm usually way under calories(I don't recommend!)0 -
Depends on how quickly you want to lose and if you're able to maintain without feeling starved. 1200 a day with fruit, veggies & protein is adequate and with all you're doing you should lose quickly.0

GW: 115 What I'm really aiming for isn't so much of loss of weight, but getting fit enough that I lose the fat around my midsection. So whether it fluctuates or not is irrelevant.
Exercise: Meditation once a week for an hour, sit ups 5-6x a day for 5min. and walking 30min.
My daily calorie goal is set at 1480, but I try to aim below it.0 -
I try to NET about 1300, but anywhere between 1200-1400 is fine.
However, I exercise a lot now that I belong to a gym so sometimes it's hard to eat most of the calories back. I do give it my best effort though.

Well it is good to eat less calories in a day specially for those people who want to loss weight. I eat below 2500 calories in a day. I think it is enough to eat 2500 calories in a day.0

I average about 1 lbs loss per week on this. This was set up for me by a sports nutritionist. The idea is to not cut back so much that your body slows down it's metabolism and it's a great way to slowly lose fat. My goal is to be at about 13% body fat by Jan 2013 for the Houston Marathon.0 -
