            Breakfast:
2 slices of French Toast made with 35-calorie whole wheat with fruit -
1 egg + 2 TBSP skim milk + vanilla/cinnamon to taste. Cook on skillet with Pam, not butter.
I eat it covered in chopped strawberries (4-5) and blueberries, and sometimes a banana.
 210 calories (315 with banana)
 6g protein
 9g fiber (12 w/ banana)
 5g fat (from the egg)
 27g carbs (58g w/ banana) (that's a lot, but it's fruit!)
 Lunch:
 Homemade tuna salad
1 can tuna, chopped green onion, 2TBSP Miracle Whip (not mayo), pickle relish and/or sweet pickles (I use both)
 198 Calories
 20g protein
 6g fat
 16g carbs
Eat with a side of whatever veggies you like.0

I'm 49. I've been diagnosed with low thyroid. I have instability in my knees and ankles. I'm sedentary, partly by choice. I've eaten loads of 750 calorie meals. THAT'S PROBABLY HOW I GOT TO 200 POUNDS!
And yes, I'm sure I could find some sort of exercise that I could do 10 hours a day that wouldn't bother my knees, but I don't want to. Eating under the daily prescribed calories - right now it's 1290 and that's losing ONE FRIGGIN' POUND A WEEK, is working for me.
I'm having one of my favorite under 300 calorie meals tonight. Taco Salad.
Costco chicken tenders - cooked in the crock pot with low sodium taco seasoning and low sodium chicken broth
 Salsa
 Reduced Fat Mexican Cheese
 Tomatoes
 Tons of lettuce
I'll have plenty of room for a snack later, which works well for me.
If you want to have a 750 calorie meal thread, why don't you make your own?0

I dont know if this has been covered before, but will list it anyway:
Half cup of oatmeal (mixed with spices and salt.i dont like sweet oatmeals) + 3 egg whites + big toast- rounds up to around 300
 OR
 2 toast + 2 eggs + laughing cow cheese wedge - yumm
 OR
Vegetable hummus wrap - around 370 calories
there are too many..these are just from top of my head0

My dinner tonight was 1,183 calories. And I'm still hungry. :frown:
I can have a 300 calorie or less breakfast. Sometimes a 300 calorie lunch. But not dinner. I'd chew my arm off in my sleep if I only at 300 for dinner.0

            2 eggs
 1 banana
mash banana, mix eggs in & cook like a pancake. 247cals & will fill you up till your next meal.
 I'm gonna give this a try!0

            Old thread is old.
I agree with Lorina, though. I have to eat more than 300 calories at dinner or there would be no stopping me from eating my entire pantry before bed. Between 500-700 is a good target for me.0

I just made this yesterday for the first time....not really original or anything...and I did it for breakfast at work today.
1 Bagel Thin-110 cal (can do a sandwich thin, as well)
 4.5 T Egg Beaters-52 cals (equiv of 1.5 eggs...even that would be 105 cals)
Slice of Cheese-45-90 depending on type/thickness
Total (max on the cheese): 252...even with whole eggs, it's less than 300 cals.
Also, yesterday, I put on a Turkey Sausage Patty (50 cals)....but did ultra thin cheese.0

Agreed. I can do greek yogurt + fruit or cottage cheese with tomatoes, cucumbers and sunflower seeds for under 300 as breakfast or lunch, but generally, dinner is 800+.0

I put on weight because my meals were (unwittingly) in the 200-400kcal range. I would think I must have eaten enough, because my plate was full of food, so when I was hungry later I would refuse to believe it. I would resist for so long, and then binge on Ben and Jerry's when I couldn't cope any more.
So, if any of my meals are around 300kcal, I add a 50g chaser of nuts.0

300 calories is neither filling nor a meal.0
