I'm the same I walk into a restroom and someone comes out the stall and goes straight for the door. I want to grab their wrists, stand behind them and put their hands under the water with soap and sing, "This is the way we wash our hands, wash our hands, wash our hands. This is the way we wash our hands, after we go potty."

When people give threads half-finished generic titles in an attempt to get more hits as a cry for attention.

Yes! Especially when you can hear their teeth clacking as they chew the banana. Or pudding or ice cream.

Iregardless is not a Eff'n Word!!!!!

Serously, it makes me cringe when I hear that word.

Oh and it makes me sick to hear that subtle "smacking" sound when somebody eats cereal.

You invitation says you are having a party, wedding, etc at 4p.m. and it does not start until 6 or even 7.
Lateness of any kind really drives me INSANE.

Of course emergencies and situations come up, but dear GOD not every single time.

    GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

Smacking and chewing is horrendous! Especially when it's something mushy. Or something crunchy. My office was (thank goodness) next to a woman who would eat chips every morning. Each chip she'd put in her mouth she would crunch with her mouth open. It takes some serious eating to make that loud of a crunch to be heard from office to office.

My other pet peeve (eating at least), is when someone is eating with a fork and with every bite you can hear them drag their teeth against the tines of the fork as they're pulling it out of their mouth. Kinda like a 'ziiiing' type of sound. Makes me cringe...:explode:

Along the same lines, when my fiance can't see the TV or whatever, and needs me to move has asks me if I can 'push forward'. Umm, no. But I can move outta your way... WTF am I pushing??

FAKE FINGER NAILS UGGGGGHHHH! Especially when there is all kinds of nasty crap under them because someone doesn't know how to use a nail brush. Makes me want to vomit. I used to cashier and started wearing gloves because of the filth on people's hands and under their nails...wash wash wash! <end rant>

People with bad table manners and talking with their mouth full of food, people who say pacific instead of specific and curtains that have gaps in them when closed.

    +1 on the curtains!!

I think you mean IRKS...not Erks... there is big difference between the two.
    erk [urk] noun British Slang.
1.an aircraftsman of the lowest rank in the Royal Air force.
    2. a worthless, stupid person; jerk.

    irk (ûrk)
    tr.v. irked, irk·ing, irks
To be irritating, wearisome, or vexing to. See Synonyms at annoy.

I could fill the pages of a book with pet peeves...I will narrow down to three:

The mispronunciation of the word WOLF or WOLVES...it's NOT WOOF AND WOOVES!

The misspelling of LOOSE and LOSE. You are NOT LOOSING weight so that your clothes will fit LOSER!

Lastly, when people do not empty the contents of a ketchup packet properly. A small piece of a corner should be taken off completely, allowing the contents to squeeze out neatly in a nice clean stream. You should NOT tear the packet down the middle, halfway down causing the ketchup to simply blob up at the end of the packet in a big mess.

    ....when people misspell "Irks"?

    1. Talking with mouth full. (NO! A thousand times NO!)

    2. Not washing hands (Jeepers, people!)

    3. That clicking sound of spoon on teeth when some people eat ice cream or cereal.

    4. Slurping of anything unless your host is Asian and it is appropriate to show respect.

    5. Too many grammatical examples to name.
