When people look over at the machine im on to see how good I am doing instead of worrying about themselves! That and when guys purposely run RIGHT behind me with thier guy friends and talk about my *kitten* for 5 laps -_-0

Sticky equipment. Yuk0

1) People who didn't return free weights to the rack when they were done --- C'mon guys... what if someone trip on them?
2) Weird, expressive grunting --- I have come to accept that some people need to grunt during their last few reps, whatever rocks your boat.... but if you are going to sound like a bonobo on heat throughout your entire set, and I can't blast my music loud enough to drown out your mating call..... I die a little inside.0 -
Curls in the squat rack.0
-
when i'm on the treadmill running & my hand knocks my phone off the shelf0
-
Only one thing - the b*tch who ducked under my barbell to grab a weight plate mid-set.0
-
Guys who scan the room to see who is looking at them...puhlease! :noway:0
-
I hate when every bike, treadmill, elliptical, etc in the gym is empty and someone comes to the one right next to the one I'm on0
-
People telling me I'm too pale and need to go to the beach and/or tan.
Happened three times this week alone.0 -
Bad breath. Oh Em Gee!! Dude, brush your teeth and eat some mints before you come in! You know it's bad when the people around said offender start moving to the other side of the gym :noway:0

I agree 100% about the people lookin at what u doing......as fare as s the dudes behind you.. when u look good it comes with the territory boo0 -
I hate when people stare at you in disbelief that you would actually take the time to work out. I don't know if that happens to anyone else, but it makes me uncomfortable. It's like they're saying go back to that couch you were sitting on.0

People who don't wipe down their machines.
People who hoard machines.
People who drink starbucks while on the treadmill.0 -

Don't worry about the looks you get at the gym... The truth is for many people they all started somewhere, focus on you and you will be fine! Honestly, I use to be embarrassed when I was 25 kgs heavier, but I started and actually no one gave a s... About me, just me. It was in my mind. Don't let that stop u!0

People who use a set of dumbbells for three reps, then switch, then switch. Standing in front of the whole rack the entire time.
People who run 4-5 weight machines in a circuit and won't let you get in on any of them until they are done.0 -
I'm there at O'dark:thirty AM and so I miss all this wonderful stuff!0

Lol. I hate when people stalk the machine I'm on. They have already walked by to see how long I have and then they stick close to me for the moment they can hop on it. Patience is a virtue...go lift until I'm done.0

I love the gym tbh, I hate the unisex loos.. Does that count? Lol0

When you're trying to concentrate and people start chatting you up.0

when there are no hot women0

When no buff men are working out. Booooring.0

I just moved to Los Angeles and i've tried out about 8 different gyms to decide which one to go to, and the common theme here is no one ever re-racks their weights. That rustles my jimmies more than anything.
Also when people aren't even near the weight/bench/machine/squat rack that they're using then you assume it's open and then they come out of nowhere and say they weren't done using it0 -

"rustles my jimmies"=one my my favorite expressions of all time0 -
Okay, when I have to hike to the north 40 to get dumbbells that weren't put back, I admit that bugs me.0

bros who workout together
they spend 10 min chatting between sets and lean on equipment
then they scan the cardio area for girls obviously, creeps
no wonder theyre 15%+ body fat
personal trainers/clients getting in your way
the worst is when they are seniors doing 6am sessions
some of us gotta go to work and trying to get in a workout
you can schedule a session anytime of the day :indifferent:
its great that you are exercising at your age but why not after 8am
you can have the gym to yourself0 -
1) People who like to talk on their phones in the loudest possible voice so that you can hear them from across the gym while they're running on the treadmill/using the equipment. I don't give a flying f about your personal like & I don't want to hear about it from the other side of the room.
2) People who come to the machine right beside you when there are other empty machines and stare at you. Especially if they're making faces (I had this chick the other day turn towards me & started making weird faces, like sticking her tongue out at me and slanting her eyes etc etc. Totally weirded me out, I thought something was seriously wrong with her.)
3) People who don't wipe down the equipment.0 -
When it's too crowded to properly work in and I have to use the Keiser machines. . .0
-
It absolutely frosts my nuggets when
* people don't wipe down equipment
* they come to the gym to socialize and clown around0 -
Stinky people.... I understand that in the gym we are hopefully going to get a bit sweaty... But when you smell like you don't wipe after you poop... That is just disgusting.
People who hog the bench... Do you really need 40+ minutes on the bench? I think it might just be time to move on to your next exercise.
People that don't rerack weights... "Are you done.... or not......?"0
