  • Truroots - Organic 100% Whole Quinoa, 1/4 cup (46 g) dry 172 cal
    (3/4 when cooked- used water)
Best Choice - Sliced Almonds Natural Sliced, 0.5 tablespoon 26cal

Special K Nourish oatmeal w/ raisins and pecans.
    One cup mixed berries.

I alternated between oatmeal, eggs, shakes, and cereal. Occasionally I indulge with a Jimmy Dean's sausage biscuit.
  • I usually use breakfast to get my Iron and vitamin C. So I go for bread with goat cheese, kiwi and cucumber or with peanut butter and kiwi. With it I have a glass of orange juice.

I had two pumpkin protein muffins (I got the recipe on here) and a cup of coffee. Not too much since I wanted to get to my university gym before most of the students were awake or out of their first class!

this morning had a Jimmy Dean Delights breakfast sammie...I have that and some fruit most mornings. ALTHOUGH...we are almost at the oatmeal time of year! Last winter I frequently made steel cut oats in the crockpot overnight and had that for four or five mornings. Delish!

I love breakfast. Bowl of porridge (well oats soaked in water overnight) zapped in the microwave for 30 secs with some splenda and a dessert spoon of flax seed oil, and a 5 egg white omelette sprinkled with salt and dill. A multi vitamin and a Black Coffee.

I'm about to have coffee, cottage cheese with honey (and maybe diced plums; I haven't decided on that yet), and half an English muffin with PB2. It's not my usual, but today's grocery day and pickings are slim!

My go-to egg taco. This morning I made it with a small flour tortilla, egg cooked in canola with white onion and red pepper, and a tiny bit of Hidden Valley southwest chipotle dressing. So good.

Oh, and cherry chip flavored coffee with a splash of milk.
