Sodium is 817 per serving...I'm not sure how to get this down. I am still working on my sodium myself...but I just started dieting and eating healthier!
Thanks, maybe I'll make the salsa instead of using the jarred stuff. Could use dried beans too.0 -

OMG - this is now one of my favorite meals!!!! SO SO SO yummy! Thanks for sharing it with us!
I served it with a dollop of Zoi greek yogurt - the plain kind & corn tortillas. The best!!
I added it to the data base under Mexican Chicken Crockpot Recipe using the nutritional values given with the recipe btw...0 -

This recipe was AMAZING!!!
It actually came out to be close to 10 servings (3/4-1 cup) instead of 6 which makes the calories/sodium a LOT lower!! Very yummy and very filling!
I brought leftovers for lunch today!
THANK YOU!!

Making it tonight and I am soooooo excited, I'm also adding in diced Hot chili's, my Black Beans are Low sodium, and my corn is fresh instead of frozen, hopefully the corn won't make too much of a difference. . . and I like my food spicccccy! So I'll also be adding in some cayenne pepper. . . eeek can't wait! :bigsmile:0

Sounds great, I'm going to put in greek yogurt instead of the cream cheese, just because greek yogurt is my new favorite!0

Well here's a good way, for instance I'm using Bush's- Reduced Sodium Black Beans (240mg of sodium), rather then Bush's- regular black beans (450mg of sodium), which drops the sodium for the meal to 607! Big difference!
Oh and I don't know if you already do this but I use Sea Salt for EVERYTHING!!0 -
Sounds so yummy thanks!!0
