I only wear makeup when I use the toilet.

But if you flush, wouldn't poo particles get stuck to your face?

    On another note-

I wash my face before I work out but not my eye make up. I try to sweat hard and go for the teary eyed rejected prom date look.

Women shouldn't have to worry about wearing make-up is all I'm saying. As I recall, the question was, why do some women where make up to the gym?? You didn't have to chew me up and spit me out and call me a sk@nk.

    Nobody called you a sk@nk.

And you don't think women should have to worry about how they look. Right?

...unless you're a woman who wants to wear makeup. Because then Buckeye will be judging you and thinking you're faker than a porn star's orgasm

***silly thread. But that last line "faker than a porn star's orgasm" has me laughing out loud or (lol).

    WHO CARES!
Never ceases to amaze me how many people concern themselves with women+make up at the gym.

I go to the gym right after I drop my kids off at school. I see lots of early 20's girls there with all of the latest workout clothing and a face full of makeup. I don't get it. We are there to work and sweat our butts off, not to find a date for that night. I think some just have their priorities wrong, but maybe I am wrong because I hardly ever wear makeup. I am an all natural person when it comes to makeup.

This may come as a surprise to you, but there is a huge difference in priorities between you a mother of three kids and a 20 something at the gym who is kidless she might be trying to meet a fit good looking male at the gym while your focused on getting fit to keep up with your kids :) or whatever your reasons are.

^^Exactly! When I was in my 20s, going to the gym, where all the hot, buff guys were, No Way would I walk in there looking like I had been lying in bed with the flu for a week!
Now, eh, who cares. I go to the store with no makeup and hair in a banana clip half the time. lol My days of impressing anyone else but my hubby are over.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THIS IS WHAT I WAS GOING FOR!! My pregnancy hormones get myself in trouble and in the worst possible manner which is NOT how I mean it.

I don't wear make up personally, but if they are wearing make-up at the gym and it's not during or after work, then in my eyes they are fake. They can't handle looking at themselves without make-up on and must look good all the time.

Maybe they just like make up.

I think it's a bit arrogant to believe you have some personal insight into a woman's psyche just because of what she has on her face.

Just one woman's opinion. Nothing says you have to agree with me. Quite frankly, I just don't like make-up. People look good without it. It's one more thing the tabloids make us feel we need to wear to look good. If women want to wear it to make themselves feel good, that's their choice. I'm just an au-naturale person.

And by the way, thanks for calling me arrogant.

You're welcome. Thanks for calling me and women like me who chose to wear make up fake.

You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine. I guess the difference is I don't waste my time forming poorly informed opinions about women who DON'T wear makeup to the gym.

Each to his own and all that I suppose

I'm just saying. Give me 3 good reasons why you should wear make-up to the gym and I won't call you fake. You sweat it all off anyhow.

    1. I have good make up and am not a heavy sweater so it doesn't actually come off
    2. Because I like that I get to wake up every day and draw on my face with pretty colours on my face
    3. To p!ss of judgemental lady-haters like you

Not good enough. Those are NOT 3 good legit reasons, so take it up with someone else.

Jaysus, who died and made YOU queen?

Sorry...I'm having trouble getting from your original response of people who wear make up are fake and can't stand to look at themselves without it back to a nicely worded "to each their own" response.

As others have said though...I understand you have a free pass punchcard because of your pregnancy.

ETA: And i wear make up at the gym because darnit I like to feel pretty

I don't mean after work, or on your lunch break.... I work out at about 9-10 am
I hear ya. I will actually give my face a quick wash if I go after work so the mascara meets sweat doesn't get scary.

Hubby and I go 8:00 saturdays and I am amazed of how many full make up faces there are. There is little cute about me at the gym :)

I wear very little makeup, mascara and eyeliner and since I go to the gym straight from work, I wear it to the gym. Don't have time to wash my face first and don't really care to. If I work out in the morning, I don't bother with makeup.

Thanks for the offer but I think I found a sperm donor. He volunteered since he's currently serving a life sentence and won't even be out until after the kid is 18.

If i was not married and trying to get attention from hot guys while working out, i would wear make up and cute clothes..But now, i don't bother- why waste time to get any attention when i cant use it for any purpose ;)
I try to dress and impress only my hubby(ok-most of the times!)
