Another five miles from spa land, including some steps while walking across a log suspended 25 feet in the air. Even did four steps backwards. I was unable to do this last year, but 40 lbs less of me did the trick.

Thanks for the GIF Speedy. We all deserve the cheers of the crowd for our efforts. ( Oh and Mike.....that is exactly why I don't run on a treadmill...some days walking is dangerous enough:laugh: )

6 miles today......it started raining about halfway through my walk today. No problem,, just had to change into warner clothes when I got back home.

    October total 80.5 miles:bigsmile:

Made up my short training run with a quick 3 miles this afternoon.

Just noticed that I passed the 2000 cumulative mile mark. I know DCMat does that in less than 2 months, but for those of us who move on two feet, that's a long way!

Way to go!!! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

    10/16: 2.18 miles total
    113.77/100miles completed.

I did a total of 1.04 miles walking to measure the part of the track that I was going to do intervals on. I changed my mind and just decided to run and I set my app to alert me if I'm below a certain pace. The app does state that it's still in the trial stage, and boy, they're right. I got tired of the buzzing that kept going off even when I was above the target pace, so I stopped at .67 miles, and then I tried to do what I came there to do, intervals. But, I was so annoyed and tired. I quit at .47 miles. The layers of clothes that I had on didn't help.

@ TeamA - That is so frustrating. When an app works great it inspires us to go further and faster. When it craps out on us, it's tough to stay motivated.

5.48miles today for a total of 93.79 miles.

One of my new years resolutions was to walk an average of 12,000 steps a day (made before I found this challenge or it would have been made a resolution in miles instead of steps). With the amount I walked today, even if I don't take one more step this year I would have an average of 12,001 steps per day for the year. Who says that it is impossible to keep a new year's resolution?

When I first saw his pic, I was hoping that he was a vet. Being a germaphobe, I'd be freaked out if I saw a bird perched on my doctor's shoulder while he was in the office.
