$10/ month for basic membership at Charter fitness.

$30/30 min session with personal trainer at a private studio called Kinex Fitness. I go 3x/week to her.

Second job I applied for comes with the perk of using their gym for free. I would still keep my Charter membership though because it is so close to home and the free one (if I get the job) is across town.

    $0.00

I work out in the park, the backyard or in the basement. I stopped paying gym membership fees many years ago. I buy my own equipment when I think I need it. Saves a ton of time and money.

£38 a month which is about $61. And that's cheap for England. The nicer gyms are over £50 so about $80. My gym is pretty basic but has everything I need, although the swimming pool is separate and about a mile away, and not very nice.

£42 a month, about $67. This is for the gym at a local hotel, lots of equipment, nice pool, free parking although the pool can get very busy at weekends. I'm very envious of the low gym fees in the USA.

    Lot of variation here eh?

$22 bi-weekly off my paycheque - we have a corporate deal with Goodlife. Never had cheap memberships.

$45/month (deducted from my paycheck, my company co-owns the gym), and that includes personal training (2 sessions/month) and all fitness classes offered.

Mine was $269 for the year, I just joined in September. I used to do planet fittness, but wanted a gym with zumba classes and aerobics classes. And this one is closer to home.

I live in a big city where everything, from apartments to dining to gyms, is "luxury" rather than basic. I'm pretty sure you can't get a gym membership for less than $100 a month. I pay $40 a month for unlimited Jazzercise classes at a local community center, which is a great deal compared to the other options!

    Fitness 19 is $9/month. :)
  • $40/month at gym in hopsital next door + our insurance kicks back $150/year.:flowerforyou: Live in Boston, everything is expensive. Was paying $90/month for Boston Sports Club. Current gym has equipment, free weights but no pool (boo hoo). Clean and close to my office so I can jump over at lunch and miss the crowds. Initiation fee was $56 but includes 4 personal training sessions. Limited kinds of classes are all included.

My gym is free - military retiree on an installation, but classes are $3 a piece or $25 for unlimited classes per month. My husband and I pay a combined $150 for our CrossFit gym though.

    Fitness 19 is $9/month. :)

Several years ago I paid $19/month for my husband and I at fitness 19.. he never went, but even then it was a good deal. I quit going when I moved to a different state and haven't joined a gym since... most of them have been too expensive for my budget. :(

We pay $66 a month for a family membership. This includes indoor pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub, kids zone daycare, a very well equipped gym, and many classes (zumba, spinning, circuit training, step, kickboxing). In addition, there are extra sports activities such as dance, soccer, basketball, swimming, and softball for the kids for a nominal fee. it.

In US dollars, mine is about $45 per month, and my work reimburses about $300 of that per year, which is awesome.

$43 a month at my YMCA. But if I go 30 times in 3 months, my employer reimburses $40 of it....so basically just $3 a month
  • Free! I work part time (VERY part-time) at GoodLife Fitness and associates get a free membership :)

Gold's where? I am a member of Gold's in Alabama and I pay $50/mth for a family membership. That is with a discount. There are classes but most are over by the time I get there and tanning is optional. I also pay an additional $140/mth for a personal trainer there. I would love it if they would offer tanning. Don't think I would use it often but once or twice would be good.
