No offense meant to you at all, but I don't understand the sizing of jeans!! I'm in the 150s and I'm in a size 14. I think it must be due to my belly which I'm not happy with at all. I've started doing some sit-ups but I seriously need to tone that area. It's so cool when people start to notice!! Good luck to you!!

I hear ya! Of course, everyone is built differently and stores fat in different spots.. but still, it's a pain! You may want to get 30 day shred a shot, it's a dvd at Walmart for $9. I'm not trying to gloat or force anyone to get it and I know everyone's resuls will vary, but I did it for 16day straight and I lost 9in in total. That's measuring neck, arms, chest, waist, belly button, belly 'pooch', hips, thighs and calves. I measured the day I started, and the day 15. I've since slacked on it due to real life problems, but I plan to pick it back up soon and finish off my last 2weeks and measure again.

WOW BRU! 9 inches? That is fabulous!!! I gotta let Jillian start kicking my bootay again!

Plus I just noticed your: "I'm not fat. I'm under construction." That is Great!!! Love it!!!

Happy, Happy, Happy Friday everyone! I have no plans this weekend and I'm really looking forward to just relaxing. Today I completed the Cardio-week 5 dvd from the Kettleworx series. I actually liked this workout so I could definitely see myself completing it again.

Hi all! I've been so slacking lately. Life has been kicking my rear. I'm hoping that some of the stress is over and done with now. But new stresses seem to be popping up, mostly for my sister. Her 7yo step-daughter has had some issues with bloody stools. They've run tests, and they don't think it's Meckles (what they originally thought). Then, through information she shared with her counselor, they found out that mom has been punishing attitude, back talk, cussing, etc with a tablespoon of jalapeno juice! Jalapeno juice used straight, in excess can cause all the problems she has been having. This discovery prompted a call to SRS (dad and my sister do not have custody, only visitation, and have been fighting to change this), and an investigation on their part. But there must be more tests run to see if the jalapeno juice IS actually what is causing the problems.

Ok, didn't really mean to get into that! I re-weighed myself, just to see if 161 had been an abberation because I was sick all last weekend. I was still at 161! Now I just need to work on STAYING there. My biggest problem is logging. I'm still trying to figure out a good schedule for me with work and getting the kids to class in the morning, and throughout the day, that will allow me time to get on and log my food. By the time evening comes around, I just don't feel like enterring all my day's food! I've just got to figure out a way to log that works with my schedule.

I've never been good at saying this, so I will just come out and say it, Nicks grandma passed away this afternoon due to what they think was a massive heart attack. Please keep us in your thoughts. The hardest part is explaining to Grandpa what has happened, Nick's mom and uncles are trying to do that right now. Grandpa has no idea at this point and is going to take it hard as he wasn't well enough to see her. She was suppose to visit him in rehab today and we found out that he has blood in his urine and is going back to the hospital. Please conitnue to pray for him. I hope he fights but we all think he's going to give up. Love you all, please hug your family tight tonight and always. Just please keep us in your thoughts. Thank you all.

Good evening everyone! Hope everyone's weekend is going well. I've had a very relaxed day and plan on having an even more relaxing night. Since my day started late I decided to complete my workout in conjunction with completing my weekend errands. I parked my car at the local Walgreens and jogged 1.2 miles to the local Walmart. Once at the Walmart I did a little shopping and then walked 1.2 miles back to my car. So today I jogged/walked for a total of 2.4 miles.

Lisa & Brunette: My thoughts and prayers are with both of you and your families. Please take it one day at a time and try not to use food as source of comfort.

Happy Halloween everyone! Today I jogged 2.5 miles on the streets of GA. In my opinion jogging on the street feels very different than jogging on the trails at the park. I struggled on today's jog. The sidewalks were very uneven and I couldn't jog in the street b/c my jogging route is on very busy streets. Despite it all I stayed the course and completed the workout.

I have eaten lunch and am now watching football.

Lori: Congratulations on this week loss and getting over the plateau. Keep up the great work.

Well, I gain, which I'm not surprised with everything that's going on. Grandpa does know about Grandma, and took it better than we thought, however, he is not well enough to leave the hospital for the funeral, so we are trying to hold off services until he can leave for a few hours. It could be late this week or late next week. It's really up in the air at this point. We know he has fluid on his lungs, he has low oxygen so he's on a machine right now. The old man kept trying to pull out the tubes and such, so they had put mittens on him and sedated him. It's just getting worse. I will keep you updated as I hear. *hugs*

Hey I will take that! Im usually up a couple pounds during TOM. I usually don't even step on the scale. Been really watching the sodium I've found out I eat more than I thought I did now that Im redoing my food list and double checking for accuracy. Alot of stuff in the database is inaccurate guys.

BrunetteWife- I am so sorry about your grandma. Im sure her passing was a shock for all of you. And to have the ongoing illness of your Grandpa I know is exhausting for everyone. I will say a prayer for all of you.

kintegra & loriT129- Great job on your losses!:drinker:

    See you all next week!:flowerforyou:

Good morning everyone and happy Monday! Today I completed another Billy Blanks dvd. I'm still hodgepodging my workouts because I really do not know what program I want to complete next. Since I have a variety of dvds I'm just going with whatever I feel on that particular day, so, some workouts will be longer and more intense than others. I think I might be getting burned out so I'm going to just go with the flow for the remainder of the year and start fresh in 2011. I will continue to workout daily but am not going to allow myself to get overwhelmed.

I guess I've hit a plateau and it really sucks when you only have a few pounds to lose. I refuse to let it get me down though b/c I'm actually within my maintenance weight (120-125 lbs) but I wanted to be closer to the lower end which is why I chose 122 lbs as my goal weight.
